Sorry guy's Lock this if you must but I'm Hearing DJ got over a million for his signing. I know Rooks get a certain scale but this seems way over for a late first rounder. Am I wrong????

Rookies can get as little as 80% or as much as 120% of their rookie scale amount. Normally players get 120% of their rookie scale amount.

James was scheduled to make: $963,600 (100% of his rookie scale amount) I'm assuming he got the full 120% so he's likely making: $1,156,320.

If he gets the to play as well as I think he'll play, you'll be glad that he's only allowed to 120% of the rookie scale. I'm pretty sure he'll turn out to be a heckuva player. Plus, have you seen the deals other guys are getting? This is nothing compared to Gooden getting 5yr/32.4mil.
