This is to the Magic fan? What has your team won? Your team has won NOTHING. So until your team does something or Dwight Howard learns some post moves, you shouldn't be talking. Talk about stealing money. Amare Stoudemire has way more talent and moves then Howard will ever know.

This is for the rebel.. Tell me, do you think the Nets have anything the Nuggets want for Melo? You think Melo is coming to your team? After trading everybody for him, he will be alone. He is not going there. Sorry. You should try for the next # 1 draft pick.

1st my team already has Melo, and last I heard your team is begging my team to even listen to an offer. After all it has been reported by national, New York local, and Denver local writers that when asked about the trading Melo to the Knicks, the Nuggets executives in charge basically laughed and stated that they had nobody that they Nuggets were even remotely interested in. Yet rumors continue to persist that the Nets are on both Melo and the Nuggets lists.
The best hope for the Knicks is if the Nuggets suddenly change their minds and decide not to trade Melo, and the new CBA does not penalize players even more for leaving their current team to go elsewhere. Otherwise you will be seeing melo in LA, New Jersey, or somewhere else that he agrees to sign in order to keep his guaranteed money without risking the up to 40% paycut the owners want to give to max contracts.

And when is the last time the Knicks won anything of significance? Early 70s? Oh and BTW how many times Has Amare avg a double double or won a DPOY award?
Remember dude, Donnie Walsh doesnt like trolls

People like to say "Hey, you don't want to swim with sharks"
But I'm faster than sharks, so it's okay.

This thread is a thing of beauty, three separate fanbases coming together to send a Knicks troll back to his cave

Oh Starks you can't have it both ways. You guys think you have all these gret pieces to get Melo (Galo and AR) but all your fans are such homers that you think Gallo = Bird and AR = Magic so all your fans think you will be overpaying if you include both of those guys. The only way you even enter the conversation is if you include both.
You have no picks to offer and your best player has like a 3 year window before he starts declining. Not to metion is grossly overpaid (which is the only reason you landed him). You guys are doing everything in your power to trade Chandler for anything cause you know he is going to kill any remaining capspace and your team is loaded with guys who all play the same position. You have no real center and even if you do somehow make the playoffs it just going to be like 2004 all over again when Miami or Orlando sweeps you out of the playoffs.
For the next 3-4 years have fun with your terrible rebounding, no defense playing, over price FA and your first round exits cause you will never be able to hang with Miami or Orlando.

Wolves fan here... I was just checking out this page to see what was being discussed on Melo and I just have to say that Knicks fans are the most delusional of any team in the NBA. Gallinari and Randolph are nothing compared to some of the assets the Nets have to offer. Favors and Lopez would be more highly sought after than any Knick except Amare from a talent standpoint and probably more than even him once you factor in the rediculous contract he was given.
Why do Knick fans think Gallinari is the second coming? There is a reason Denver has said they won't deal with NY because "what do they have?"
So the obvious response will be to rip the Wolves, but I've heard it all.

John Starks wrote:You know what? I will be nice and give some advise. I think the Nets should not trade for Carmelo. Stick with your young players and let them develop. Once you get to Brooklyn, you should be good enough to compete for a playoff spot. Keep all salary cap space for then.
See, even a Knick fan can be nice and lend a hand, or carry some bags.![]()
You havent had a winning record or made the playoffs in a decade...and you have spent more payroll than any team in the entire league over that time period. Your franachise is the ulitmate laughing stock in all of sports. You gutting your team of all its good players from your cough...29 win team (WOW SO MUCH BETTER) to make Amare the only offer he received from any team in the league...plus put yourself in a postion not to have a tradeable draft pick until 2014.
It takes a rare moron to believe every single year without fail that all the nonsense moves your franchise makes are sheer genius. But...here you are. Hell, I guess you arent THAT rare. If you were...no way Dolan could get away with the dog and pony show that gets you guys to buy tickets for his latest stunt.
I wonder...did Dolan give Amare 100mil for 5 years? Or did he give him the same 80mil he would have gotten on the open market and just paid him the extra 20 for weekly reach arounds?
Gotta love Nixies. Arrogant even when you still suck.
PS- Our god awful 12 win team last year? Beat your pile of crap 2 out of 3. Too bad we cant just smack you around 82 games a year like we have going on 10 years now.

Were you even alive the last time the Nix won anything? I am guessing no....and I am thinking your folks are wondering if its too late to abort you now.
