When the Nets have collectively played great defense, Farmar was a big part of that (Detroit and Cavs games). He has also hit some clutch shots.

When the team i cold, and asking Farmar to make a play he will usually drive and throw up a lay-up that might hit some backboard on a good day, or throw a pass into a teamates back or out of bounce.

He can think he is a starter, its ok, as long as the team plays well Farmar will fit in, if the team sucks overall he'll make it worse but who cares if they suck anyway.

Well, keep an eye out to see if he still does the angry face at teammates, or clap his hand and bark at teammates. Here's another one, you know how players put both their hands up to signal they're open. Well If Farmar doesn't get the pass, I've seen him leave his hands up if the shooter misses. Farmar will leave it up as if to say to his teammate, "You effing idiot." He is the total attitude package. You may not see it now cause he's new, but once he's comfy, you'll see it. Or who knows, maybe he's trying to turn a new leaf. But man, Laker nation is glad he's gone.

Farmar's a fine back up if he's on the floor with someone capable of running an offense. He can shoot and plays some pretty good defense..I like him on the floor to end games with Harris but...he's just not a great pg overall though and at this time isn't very suitable for running our offense when Harris goes to the bench. I'd prefer Blake as a backup to be honest but I think it could work out with Farmar if Twill can play his game and not be so reckless with the turnovers..

Farmar is garbage. He's not a perfectly fine backup, he's mediocre at best.

its no lie, I'm a Farmstar fan ....

Does he take outlandish/ill advised 3's? yes ... That is one thing he definitely needs to work on. Probably more-so this evening than normal - due to the fact it was his first time playin in LA again since leaving and wanting to make a big impact.

with that said ... tonight, with 12 assists PROVES that he gets his teammates involved. Can he be selfish? Absolutely. I think he can be a great PG in this league if he continues to get his teammates involved and learns to take quality shots once other avenues (example: teammates) are exhausted.

What He Needs:
* Get teammates involved like tonight
* Work on shot selection
* Cut down on ill advised 3's & quick shots with 16+ seconds still on the shot clock

5 things
1) It was one night where he did well. Let's not get googly eyed over him.
2) Did you notice that we were playing the Clippers
3) We were playing that other LA team
4) Farmar was playing agaisnt Bledsoe, a rookie.
5) He ripped...the Clippers :blank:

Basically, it's not much too get excited about because the Clippers are the NBA's perennial punching bag.
