How about Nash or Kidd to Nets ?

What do you guys think about that ?

Kidd has 1 year left on his contact according to the trade checker. Maybe Proky can get him at a reasonable contract.

I'd rather him be the starting point guard than Harris to be honest with you. Kidd can help Favors be the beast he was meant to be.

Man, it may not be the best basketball move but to see Kidd in a Nets uniform again would bring a tear to my eye.... And you know the crowd would go insane to see it too. Dont even try and lie, you know its true.

Agreed. Having Kidd throwing alley oop passes to Favors brings us back to the old days of:

As much as that may seem like a good idea, there are two main reasons why it can't happen:
1) Kidd has already gone on the record stating that he wants to play for a chance to compete for a championship every year. I think he deserves that right to ring chase considering all of the work he's done in his career. Therefore, I don't see him wanting to come to the Nets.

2)Why hook them up for like two seasons since Kidd will only be in the NBA a few more years? Ideally, you'd like to have a Stockton and Malone kind of connection that would last for several years. Go get an established, talented young PG via free agency, draft, or trade and have the be that type of combo together.

Kidd would definitely be an ideal back-up for this team... But why should we deprive him of his chance to win a championship? Unless we'll be a contender before his game totally deteriorates...

Kidd should be the starter with Favors at PF and Harris coming off as the 6th man.

Kidd & the Nets Part II

I respect Kidd's game as much as the next person but that book is closed.
I do have a couple of his classics on VHS Nets/Knicks @ MSG Kmart era. :D
and the Nets Pistons Overtime Classic when I want to reminisce.
