haha .... sounds good.

i think farmstar has done pretty well this season, considering he is in a new offense which is completely different than the triangle offense. Triangle Offense = PG is a lame duck. I think as the season progresses and he gets more familiar with pick & roll basketball, he'll start to get better.

he's doing pretty well in the assist category (top 3 or 4 in assists coming off the bench league wide) if he can start driving to the basket more and start to understand when to and when not to dish it off, I think he'll do well :)

I think our lack of offensive success is the fault of not having a true #1 player on our team. Brook is too one dimensional to get other players involved and Devin just doesn't do it consistently. On top of that, we just don't get enough ball movement early in the shot clock.

Outlaw and Morrow, both our swingmen aren't too effective off the dribble. With harris not out there, we don't really have an isolation scorer in the halfcourt, i mean besides lopez but hes been playing like a pu$$y lately =\

First off, I'd like to say I come in peace.

Now, while watching the Knicks/Nets game, the team did not move very much once Lopez got the ball. That's what made doubling him so easy (and effective). Even a simple down screen and curl on the opposite side of the court helps a lot because if forces the defense to stay alert. Little ball movement kills teams.

yes someone above is correct. the main issue is that the nets start a SG and a SF who are both pretty poor ball handlers and creators. neither can drive. so that leave only one guy on the floor at most times (harris or farmar) who can do anything with the ball, create for anyone else, etc. i thought outlaw would be able to slash but it doesn't really seem like it. when he dribbles he usually doesn't get anywhere and ends up taking a not entirely open jump shot because he has not shaken the defender. when he does slash it seems to work. i guess he is just a dumb player. someone has to pound it into his head that he should be slashing and slashing. and morrow tries to do things with the ball but he seems a step slow so he loses the ball a lot. at least he's trying. but also he should be stretching the floor for everyone else but for some reason, and this is perhaps on the coach, he's not getting enough touches maybe to threaten the defense enough to pay him excessive attention and therefore to open the floor.

also is it the coach's problem or the point guards, but the nets never seem to get into their offensive sets until the shot clock is running down. seems like williams should be recalled and should be starting for outlaw, in my opinion. another issue, not a big issue, but i have noticed...why does petro shoot so many mid range jumpers? if you read his old draft scouting reports, they mention a tough to stop hook shot inside. i have not seen him post up a defender once.
