Yeah maybe it's just posturing to get a better deal for a small forward going or maybe to cut down the Harris trade to either a 1st rounder or DJones.
But yeah even a couple days ago I wouldn't have been irate if the young Roddy guy that's been deemed "untouchable" would have been included in a deal for Harris.
Harris would have helped a lot more than Roddy the next year or 2 and it may just be a moot point after that.
Just going to be extremely disappointing if we go into the playoffs playing Peja and JJ Barea big minutes when deals appear to be out there.

I say we do the Mavs a favor and give them a SF to fill their hole there :snicker:

The Mavs are just trying to see what they have to offer. I mean Portland is the only other serious contender right now. If they have to offer Dom Jones and a 1st to get it done I'm sure they will..... otherwise they are insane. But to go ahead and give up assets you don't know whether or not you actually need to give up isn't very wise either..... On the other hand, it's such a good deal, I can also see the impulse to say wtv, screw Dom Jones and a late first, Devin Harris is by far more of an asset.
