Right mindset

Deron williams just has to have the right mindset when he comes.

I think if he comes here like kidd did with the mindset he is going to prove the jazz wrong for trading him and prove to everyone he is the great point guard he is then the nets will do great and win a lot of games.

Remember that kidd was a top point guard with the Suns but he became the hall of fame player he is now with the nets. The nets made his career. He was the runner up for MVP the first season because he turned them around.

this is the exact same situation as the kidd trade to the nets except this one took place at the deadline and not over the summer. SO kidd had a whole season and training camp to work with. But he was pissed at the beginning. He went from a 50 plus win play-off team to a 20 win lottery team. But he said I'm gonna prove to everyone it was a mistake to trade me and look was he did. he didn't even need the whole season he had the nets winning from game one.

DWill just needs that attitude.

Now if he comes in with the wrong attitude then the nets are screwed. If he says I'm just here for a year and a half then this would have been a bad trade.

But I think he will come in and say he wants to prove to the jazz they shouldn't have traded him and prove to the world that he is the best point guard in the league not just a top point guard and they way he does that is by playing his butt off and pushing these players like kidd did to those players.

dwill, morrow, james, hump and lopez is a good starting five and with farmar, sasha, outlaw, wright and petro off the bench we have a good play-off team.

the only disappointing part is that it may be too late this season to make the play-offs. unless they go on a 10-0 game run or something.
