Why did Troy struggled so much with you guys?

Sorry, haven't kept up with everything around the NBA. As a Heat fan that might have a shot at the guy, looking at his stats, it seem like Troy didn't play that well. Just want to get first hand report, from the guys that actually watched the games. Any reasons why?

Originally I thought Avery was being unfair to him but in the minutes Troy did play... He just missed shots. Open shots, contested shots, long-range shots, layups he couldn't hit anything :-?

His hustle on the boards was occasionally there but he looked a lot slower than he did last year...

He couldn't pass, couldn't shoot, couldn't defend, barely could rebound and when he did, he was usually just stealing one from another player on the team, and to top it off, he didn't really show any effort on the court at all. Long story short, he was awful.

Wow that sounds bad, hopefully if we do land him, change scenery, and easy open looks, and the guy might actually be motivated.
But there wasn't no injury issue right? Just awful play.

He might have injured his eyes after watching the Nets play so bad game after game lol...

Sadly no. It appears as though a back injury has expedited Murphy's decline this year.
