Kevin Love isn't even a top 30 player in the league.

His god awful defense and inability to convert baskets around the rim consistently are vastly understated by the media.

Love has a handful of rebounds each game that come directly from him botching open layups or deciding to forgo playing help defense in favor of setting himself up in prime rebounding position.

I agree.

I like Kevin Love, but could you really count on your team if Kevin love is the best player you have?

Obviously not from the look of things in Minnesota.

Once you list the top 15 players, things get pretty fuzzy. Love isn't a superstar, but I really like his game so I overrated him.

So E brought this up in the other thread, said Deron is not a top 5 player in the league and that it takes superstars to win, both of which I agree with, but I would like to see where others are at now that the season and playoffs are over...

1. Dirk Nowitzki
2. Lebron James
3. Dwight Howard
4. Dwyane Wade
5. Chris Paul
6. Kevin Durant
7. Deron Williams
8. Derrick Rose
9. Kobe Bryant
10. Pau Gasol
11. LaMarcus Aldridge
12. Manu Ginobili
13. Paul Pierce
14. Amar'e Stoudemire
15. Carmelo Anthony
16. Blake Griffin
17. Russell Westbrook
18. Kevin Garnett
19. Chris Bosh
20. Steve Nash

Honorable Mentions:
Nene Hilario
Rajon Rondo
Tyson Chandler
Danny Granger
Jason Kidd
Zach Randolph

There are a couple of negative aspects about Paul's game that have become more pronounced since his injury that keep me from putting him above Deron. Career-wise Paul has been better than Deron, but right now I feel Deron is the better player.

Also you have Aldridge and Garnett too high while Nash is too low (the Suns were 40-42 last year with a horrifically bad roster).

I would put switch Lebron and Dirk, as well as Kobe and Rose and maybe put Nash a bit higher and Griffin and Westbrook a bit lower. Other than that, a pretty solid list.
