He did help bring us back against Washington, but he also turned the ball over 4 times, including late in the game which helped keep the Wizards in it, and he took 11 3s (he did hit 4 of them, which is a decent percentage, but still, that's too much).

And he was nonexistent against Atlanta. He couldn't finish inside, he wasn't finding teammates, and he turned the ball over 6 times (in limited action).

Williams has never been a guy who took super good care of the ball, but 5 TOpg is too much (yes, I realize it's a very small sample size).

Not worried about the turnovers. Shortened season, plus new players (and ones who can't catch a pass, like Shelden) means turnovers. Deron has 10 TOs over 2 games, but look at the stats of other playmakers out there.

Westbrook, Rondo, Nash are up there too (Nash surprisingly, since he's a low TO guy). Curry, Kobe, Rose are all avg 4 tos per game. He'll settle down eventually. But keep in mind, the worse his supporting cast is, the worse his passing/to numbers will be as well.

The defenses are loading up on him because he's the only one who can dribble
