How the hell did Rudy Gay drop to 8th in the draft? I didn't follow the draft in 2006, someone explain.

It has nothing to do with how he is now, but his length/athleticism/shot/everything seems too good to be picked 8th.

I think it was because some GM's were worried about his work ethic. Seemed lazy etc. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly though.

I just remember watching UConn that year and thinking he'd be an easy top 5 pick. I mean, She-Will went 5th..

Shelden Williams was considered a massive reach by many if not all of the Draft experts. Hawks fans desperately wanted Roy.

When a player like that gets drafted early and busts, everyone goes "LOL YOU ARE A BUST."

Then when a player turns into a stud, everyone wonders how they slipped that far.

I didn't consider his NBA achievements. Usually a player with his freakish length/athleticism combined with his skills gets drafted higher.

Come on which one of you guys promised a net win this game? It was in the last game thread... Be honest... Call it what you like but I think D-will put the second half in the too hard basket.... Was he actually scorless in the last? Here are my views....

D-Will played Allstar level in the first half.... The other players feed off of his momentum....

Hump had a bad game.... get over it....

Brooks has slowed down his game, yes he turned it over alot and at crucial times.... But lets face it how many times has he looked to dish to a big man who is standing out side the key waiting for a jumpshot instead of cutting to the rim 1 for the dish 2 for the put back only to see it go out of bounds?

Brooks is a rookie.....

Brooks is still a little rusty....

The rock crowd just flat out suck...... They just turn up enmasse when a superstar player/team are playing..... When D-will hit that 3 to have 18 before halftime.... there was just a slight cheer... Yes I know why they arn't showing up.... And that is why you are losing the franchise after 30 odd years....

This team is horribly coached.... I have never seen an assistant look like he runs the team like PJ... Avery is still doin a poor job even tho he has little to work with......

Lopez is coming back soon so when he is rusty will he get called out by you guy's?

Turnovers killed us tonight.... Flat out lazy and dumb basketball

92 (he doesn't deserve to be mentioned) is white hot trash and should never shoot the ball at all!.... His D isn't that bad... But he is trying to play like a veteran but he couldn't hit the water from a canoe....

Brooks is a late first round pick.... He was getting no respect from the opposition and was able to score.... Now he raised a few eyebrows and they are covering him better

Memphis uniform looked like the Aussie Boomers (our national squad) LOL

Tony Allen was the player of the game.

Because Humphries is an often garbage mediocre bench big forced to start.

For others they love the dude and overrate him.

For Jeff he rightfully called him out.

For me I was in the middle of ripping Deron lol, but again, truth is, the game is tied with 4 minutes left and Deron cowers up into a little ball of puss and there isn't much else to say or worry about the rest of the game.

If Deron played like he should have the last 4 minutes(hell the last 15 or so, let's be real) and we still lost, then I'm all over the Hump and the rest of this trashneck this roster is laced with.

Tony Allen really made it it his goal to shut down Deron in the second half and he achieved his goal.I know what your saying though i was like wtf why hasn't even attempted to score yet smh frustrating game as usual
