the disparity is so **** huge having this dude run the floor and even cut through in the half court sets and go after o-rebs than when he have grounded, **** criminally slow guys like morrow or deshawn or shawne playing at the 3. and he was very good on terry tonight.

It's funny how a guy who's been out of the league for 3 years can come in and play the way he did.

I think that says more about our team than it does about Gerald Green.

I don't know, but it looked like he had his head above the rim today on one of his dunks.

After seeing the pictures of his hands, every time I see Green all I can think of is 9 fingers.

It is both. Green always had talent. He's noticeably stronger now. And for some reason, because he's stronger (physically more developed), he MIGHT actually be more explosive now. I mean, he gets his head above the rim with such EASE.

Still needs to develop more. But hot damn...

Deron, Brooks, Green, Pez, Dwight

With Kidd, Morrow, Bojan, Nets pick/Houston pick plus whoever vet wants to sign here?

I hope Gerald can stick around and the team recognized that as well. Out of the 4 D league promotions, Gerald by far needs to be a long-term solution.

His athleticism is something this team has lacked since Vince left. It was nice to see such athleticism last night and I'm sure Deron is pumped that someone can actually catch an alley, and finish strong to the basket.

Any guesses on how practice went on Wednesday and Thursday with Green? Think he'll be in the starting lineup tonight? Or does Stevenson get the start again due to his AWESOME defense on Kidd on the final possession of the Dallas game?

BTW -- can anyone find that clip of the last Nets win in Dallas... the Van Horn buzzer beater in 2000? Van Horn is the reason why I got into the Nets in 97.

He's a fine individual off the court and his driving record is spotless."

Well if this was aimed at me, that's fine, because you're wrong. He's not a dumb basketball player. I didn't give any ridiculous antidotes about it. Anyway, I'm happy to see Gerald doing well for you guys. It looks like he may have gotten a bit stronger, but he still needs a lot more. His ball handling is also suspect sometimes. His athleticism is not. It's tough to take people off the dribble, when you're not very good at dribbling.
