Netincome keeps on saying "Orlando can have whatever it takes to get this done". That would be true if anything truly could get done by a simple trade.
If this is as far along as we think I wouldn't be surprised if Dwight told them" I'm good, see you in July".
On the surface that sounds bizarre. He could absolutely change his mind why wouldn't you get the stud now and forget the rest? But remember, we can't lock him up this season anyway.
Focus on gathering the players he wants. Strengthen your July pitch. Beat dallas' pitch, that's all you need

Hey man, it isn't bizarre, it's whatever Dwight wants plus the obvious of what Orlando is going to do.
If Dwight wants to ride this out and come here in FA, that's likely what will get done.
Now I've read Mitch is a betting man, but you're telling me if Dwight tells him, "Dude, I don't care if I win a title in LA this year, I'm out for Brooklyn in the summer", behind closed doors, he'll still trade Bynum and Gasol for Dwight?
Or Bynum period?
I don't see it.
So is Orlando willing to take Pau by himself in that case or whatever overpriced aging scraps like Kevin Martin and Dragic in a 3 team?
Maybe he gets dealt somewhere in a rental in that case, but that's fine with me.
It's still what Dwight wants and Orlando's prerogative.

Oh yeah and let's be real, when has Net Income been right or had inside scoop on something when it's not the same recycled drivel we've already heard on Twitter?

I mean I highly doubt he would change his mind and go elsewhere, but you're telling him, "Hey, this roster plus the MMLE, plus whatever players like Stephen Jackson get amnestied that we can get here, plus whatever overpriced player we can get for Petro and Shawne's expirings is your team. But all those pluses come down to, our core is you, Deron and whatever scraps we can gather together, we'll have zero depth, oh and Morrow. So you better hope Bogdanovic is the second coming of Drazen!"
right but thats the super short sigted look. yes, year 1 he'd be playing with a thin roster... but the first offseason after howard you have:
Farmar(4.25M)
Morrow(4M)
Petro(3.5M)
Williams(3 Million)
all coming off the books. thats nearly 15 million in cap space added. Not to mention next season we'd have a 2013 draft pick and 15 million in expiring money to offer teams via trade.

Nah I think he gets word from PR and whatnot.
Funny story about that but it's OT
Anyway you're right. Whatever scenario Dwight prefers. If he wants that $3.5M-$30M then Orlando can go to town on our assets. We just needed 57 from dwill to beat charlotte, it'll be ok.
But if Dwight is more patient and whispering sweet nothings into derons ear then play it out and position yourself to go after his friends. Otis Is already playing up his hand, but I don't see the point. Dwight is our gm now. Whether he's rented or not is up to Dwight, not us. We've been ready to deal for a year, but this late in the season there might not be any rush on dwights side anymore
They really need to meet again.
