Deron had a better game today than he did against NY, but what was more exciting to watch, Deron's 8 3's in a win against NY, or Deron going off for 57 today? What did you enjoy more as a fan?
Personally, even after today, nothing quite beats Deron lighting up MSG and shutting up Linsanity.

*Against Bobcats
Those 5 guys you mentioned above usually don't play in the 4th with a 20+ point lead against Charlotte.
Were we up by 20 at any point of the 4th? We were up by 1 point to start the 4th and won the game by 3. So that second part of what you said just sounded foolish. Clearly Deron was needed in the 4th of this game.
BTW...Kobe plays significant minutes in the 4th quarter of blowouts all the time. The MASTER stat padder. I have never seen a superstar play in more meaningless 4th quarters than Kobe.
His 81 by the way...against the 14-24 Toronto Craptors. Kobe played 42 minutes and the Lakers won by 18 points. He took 46 of his team's 88 shots had 2 assists for the entire game...he played all of that 4th quarter until the final 4.2 seconds of the game.
Lets look at the rest...
LBJ's career high came in a loss to the Raptors. It was a 7 point game. Raptors were 28-38 and the Cavs were 34-30 at the time. LBJ played 48 minutes...and obviously was needed. There was no blow out...but yes a career high against another bad team.
CP3 gt his playing 48.35 minutes of an OT win against the 6-13 Grizzlies. But I dont think we should be looking at a 43 point career high anyway. Great game...but 40 point games Shouldnt we really be talking about the 50+?
Rose's game of 42 was impressive. He played 38 minutes in a 10 point win over the 46-10 Spurs. But again...42 points?
Wade got his 55 points against the putrid no D 31-50 Knicks who also gave up 50+ and 60 plus to LBJ and Kobe in the same season. Heat won this game by 17 points...122-105. He played 39 minutes and got his last points around the 5:30 minute mark of the 4th, Heat leading by 13. Not sure when he left the game but lets assume it was shortly after. His minutes were reasonable and it wasnt a blowout...but this was the Heat's 80th game of the season. They made the playoffs and lost a week later 4-3 to the Hawks.
Durant got his 51 points in a OT thriller against the 17-15 Nuggets two weeks ago where he played 45.27 in a 6 point win. Westbrook dropped 40 in the same game for anyone who missed it. It was an exhibition. Really exciting. But...it is worth noting that Gallo and Nene were out for this game.
Now all of these performances were absolutely great. But your attempt to make Deron's look less impressive because of who he played or minutes he played? His team is putrid...his second best player got hurt...and he did it in a close game. So this was bad team...against bad team. This wasnt the Thunder, or LA beating up on inferior competition. This was a 57 point game where he was needed on the floor.
Bottom line? Dont trash talk and prove yourself a hater without knowing your facts. You expose yourself as a fool for all to see.

Its nothing serious, I just dislike his play for a good portion of the season AND when some make it seems as if he is one of the best to ever play the game. I personally think this team is a joke, once Lopez missed the first half, any season success was thrown out the window, but I still watch the blowout and great play of this team. It is what it is, you guys can be content with it, I'm just not.
See I am OK with this. Want to say he is overrated? You can make that case. Want to say you are unhappy with the putrid play of this team this season....absolutely. But if you saw THIS game give credit where credit is due...and dont make your points with the stupidity you yacked by comparing him to other big scoring performers or to their opponents without doing your homework. That's where it goes from being critical to lacking objectivity. It was a close game between bad teams. He was needed throughout that game...and he showed up big time. It was like those other performances...a great all time game.

I agree with that. As a fan...beating the Nix is second to none. Even for a decade as they sucked monkey balls and J.Kidd and co. owned them...it was still satisfying every single time. More than anything else Kidd did here besides the two finals appearances...it was his complete and total embarrassment of the Nix that gave me the greatest joy.
At the moment they have the better team. And for that game...they should have been MUCH better than us. Beating them like that...was phenomenal.

I'm calling him D from now on, he might as well go to the Feedback &Suggestions board and change it now.

As that my real name starts with E as well and everyone calls me E...or Big E...why would I ever change it?
