The Bulls are shooting 41.7% from the field w/o Rose & Rip, but they're holding the Magic (who are known for their offense) to 36% shooting in Orlando.

The Magic have 48pts at the end of the 3rd quarter!

DEFENSE and REBOUNDING! J-Smoove!!!

Magic aren't known for their offense lol. But ya, rebounding and defense is way more important than offense, which is why I don't get the Eric Gordon support. Until we get a big that can rebound, play defense, and has a high basketball IQ this team will blow.
This is why I'm strongly advocating us going after KG this FA, even if its a long shot.

KG is going to be 36.

I advocate him for full MLE if we make moves on draft night and have it available with a relatively finished squad.

Not going after him as a really key player who's expected to shoulder a load like this is 2008 and earlier at this point.

I realize his age, but he can still change the defensive culture of this team. And that's what makes him valuable, even at this point of his career. Not going after him as a key player expected to put up a lot of points each night, but as someone who can change the defense of this team.

I honestly think this is more wishful thinking and really just hoping/wishing he could have such a impact, at his current age.

I agree.

Look at how much the Celtics struggled this season. The age is catching up to all of these guys.

KG won't be able to change much, except the color ink in the pen that he signs his retirement documents with.

KG is still pretty damn solid man, IDK, I think he's got two pretty damn good years in him if you limit him to about 28 to 30 minutes per game in the right lineup.

The Celtics haven't struggled on defense, they are ranked 3rd in defensive rating. The biggest holdup would be what his intentions are after this year, no one knows what he wants to do. I'd love to have him.

I agree again depending on lineup and he's perfectly fine at center at this point, he plays a majority of his minutes there for Boston.

I'm sure we're on his list.

I'm talking about defense, Celtics defense is still very good, and KG is a big part of that.

Lets just sign Duncan, Garnett, Nash, Kidd, and Allen.

Also, we are in must-tank mode now...great loss, entertaining game.

Someone start a tank thread. What draft picks do we have this year anyway? I haven't played much attention, so I only know we've traded some/many of them.

We traded away our pick this year, unless it's top 3, then we keep it. We also have a pick from Houston that's lottery protected.
