The whole notion that Gasol is mentally soft is comical. He's a vastly better player than Bynum and there's no argument otherwise.

You can at times question Gasol for not being more assertive but he's a finesse player who picks and chooses when to overpower his opponent. You can't fault a player for not being a idiot.

He is soft.

No doubt Gasol's better than Bynum...but he still checks out mentally a lot of times, and Bynum still poses a much bigger matchup problem for our front line.
