Blatche is not the answer. He is the guy who will be putting up 20-10 for 10 stright years on loosing teams!

Silly.

This guy also writes for Bleacher Report by the way. If I saw the article on there, I would have been "Typical Bleacher Report" because that's what they do. I'm a Jets fan and one day they write "Why the Jets MUST get Peyton Manning" and the very next day they write one "Jets should AVOID Peyton Manning at all cost." Everyone knows that website is an absolute joke.

On the other hand, I have never read one article on this site and went "you gotta be kidding me?" There have been plenty of articles written about the Nets during my time coming to this site and I never lost my cool about any of them because, in reality, they were pretty on target. I think John forgot which site he was writing for. I'm sorry, maybe I'm just blowing off steam, but I hold RealGM to a significantly higher standard even though these are just opinion articles. The fact that non-Nets fans are calling the article a joke too speakds volumes.

And like E said, if this was written about the Lakers or Knicks, John would literally be in witness protection program right now.

Hey Prelude, was that you and your friend in the Nets jerseys behind our bench at the Charlotte game?

I wish it was me dude. I would have killed to see the clinic Deron put on.

I actually moved to New Hampshire in Dover this October for a job since I finished grad school.

I was at both Nets/Celtics games at the garden though.

Oh nice.

I just remembered you lived in Charlotte and I said, could there actually be other Nets fans in Charlotte? Nets fans that don't post here or on ND?

I'm going to be honest here...

I am so glad some kids on NetsDaily don't post here. We have our random knuckleheads come here once in a while, but I actually believe this is the best Nets board on the Net. A lot of the kids on ND make my head spin...but not as much as the ones on HoopsHype.

Back on subject:

Either way, I still want an apology from this guy or at least for him to admit he's incredibly biased or admit he has a substance abuse problem and needs to seek help. I would 100% forgive him if he did any of those 3 things. Building around Green and Blatche is basically worse than trying to build around the guys on the Jailblazers a few years ago. If John is to scared to confront 13 faceless people via the Internets, then he really is in the wrong profession.

You know what you have to wonder...how does a guy even come up with that pairing???

One guy is a 10 day contract player who has been in and out of the NBA for years. And the other is a guy already making significant cash and doing it for a team that is currently rebuilding. If Washington wants to dump Blatche and they cant rebuild around him and John freakin' Wall...one of the best prospects to come into the NBA over the last 5 years...how do you sit down, put your fingers on a keyboard and say...you know what would be good for the Nets? Pish posh to this Deron/Dwight Howard pairing....Gerald Green and Andray Blatche! Eh? Eh? Whose with me? That's the ticket right there...

Freakin clown.

Really guys?

Are we really even discussing the possibility that article was serious?

This guy is an epic troll, Mavs homer and now recently Nets hater.

Sure, he's still claiming it is because:

A) He probably has to claim he was being genuine so he avoids real reprimand from RealGM since it seems they've taken the stance of blindly believing whatever he tells them and judging his RealGM author fate on it because they must like the guy IRL and some secretly love the feces bomb landing on the New Jersey Nets and their fans.

B) He's getting maximum troll out of this. Booyah achieved. He's loving every minute of this, because although I truly believe he's probably a clueless tool in general, he knew what he was doing with this article and is now chuckling himself into convulsions every time he sees it mentioned, especially since it didn't get taken down from the site. Mission accomplished.

Billy King said Gerald Green will get another 10 day contract. It's happening, you guys.

Yeah, I don't see how anyone can defend that.

A dude that's been in the D-League for 3 years and had only played 1 GAME for the Nets by the time the article was written and a bench-ridden, self-absorbed terrible decision maker.

95% of RealGM would rail any poster for writing that garbage in the GB as we saw when a thread about it was opened. Ridiculous...

You guys should read Tjarks latest article about the Lakers and the need for Kobe to let Andrew Bynum be the #1 option. Not as bad as the one on us, but he just simply has no idea what he's talking about.

Here are some "highlights":
Before Andrew Bynum’s dominant performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night, only four Los Angeles Lakers had ever had 30 rebounds in one game: George Mikan, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. That’s the type of company he is capable of keeping.

there isn’t a player in the NBA who is bigger, faster and longer than Bynum.

This season, Kobe is averaging 23 shots and shooting 43% from the floor; Bynum is at 12 while shooting 56%.

That’s practically basketball malpractice. It would be as if, during last season’s playoffs, the Mavericks decided to ignore Dirk Nowitzki (52%) and run their entire offense around Jason Terry (45%) instead.

Yeah, because Bynum has the capability to dominate like Dirk

Dwight Howard has been the biggest prize on the NBA trade market since the end of the lockout; the Lakers no longer need him. While Bynum’s injury history is always a concern, if healthy, he’s much more gifted offensively than Howard, who lacks the finesse or the skill level to become a primary offensive option on a title team. In any NBA trade value chart, the only player that should rank higher than Bynum is LeBron James.

Bynum is capable of winning an MVP award, but not when someone else on his team is taking twice as many shots. And until Kobe cedes control of the team, Los Angeles will not win another championship.

I'm assuming... even though I know you and JJ both pull in double digit salaries a year as Mods. You pull in what, 20... 30... dollars a year?
