Moron huh, have you not heard that Wallace is going to opt out of his contract, which mean he can't be traded till trade deadline. Also, magic are firing Otis and I know for a FACT that they will not take Wallace, to old and contract would be for too long. Whatever lets see what happens, I still dought Dwight even wants out after we fire Stan and Otis which will happen next week

But they did.

You serious??? They gave away alot of good pieces for him and they were UNDER CONTRACT. Wilson, Felton, Galanari and picks. NETS have nothing like that. And all their players are FA. BIG DIFF! NETS NEED # 1 pick imo and that is the only way, that's why I just don't get it.

felton was signed the summer before they got Melo. Chandler and Galanari are alright, but not as good as Lopez imo. I don't remember picks (Knicks drafted Shump). And Mozgov who was filler. Not much of a difference. We have more assets than the Knicks, and I'm not sure it is going to take as much to get the guy coming off back surgery. We have more assets that's without a stroke of luck in the draft.

Why do you even want him still on your team though? Your team is the laughing stock of the league, thanks to Dwight. Orlando is a joke, that playoff series got as much attention as The Nets this postseason. Stan Van Gundy, enough said. Also, he has made it pretty clear he has no long term plans in Orlando. If someone did that to a team I rooted for, I would want him gone ASAP. It's time to move on, you are just delaying the inevitable.

I'm sure Billy King can muster up a multi-team trade if needed

If he doesn't agree to the extension he won't go to that team.

Ok, lets say you don't get a top 3 pick, then what? Your players are FA, understand that, you can't get him this summer. And I know ORL won't want to go through it again. And they are not going to trade Dwight for just a top 3 pick. Remember we could have sent him to the Lakers for bynum at the deadline. Lakers were willing to take him on as a rental. The thing to remember here and this is why i don't get it. NETS PLAYERS ARE FA. And can't be traded once they sign a deal till trade deadline. If dwight was to want out again, it is hard for the NETS to pull it off over the summer and I know ORL will not want to go into the season with out ext, they will trade him to another team. Remember teams were willing to rent him this yr too

Doesn't matter. Orlando might have to wait till the deadline. Or they might have to wait till the summer.

Point is Dwight will be in Brooklyn. He doesn't want to play for the Lakers. And theres no other team in this.

No one is going to rent Dwight. I just don't see the Magic doing that. And even if they do, Dwight is not gonna stay with them.

I'm guessing the OP has never heard of a SIGN AND TRADE?

Seriously can't wait until the end of the offseason so that we stop getting these dumb threads

So I wanted to get your take on this. Seems like people don't understand where NETS stand as of today with their assets.
