He was one of the few bright spots to watch last season given the fact that the overall team stunk. I appreciate his loyalty and I hope he does well in Indy.

Although, I do find it funny that people on ND are going absolutely nuts that Green isn't back. He definitely played well for us and provided a spark but it's not like he really affected our win/loss total. He made things more interesting and brought excitement to a 22-win team. Maybe people are forgetting that wins and losses, not excitement, is what truly wins games. He's a nice role player, but people are acting like we lost LeBron James or something lol.

Gerald Green was a massive bright light on what was an otherwise dismal last year In Jersey.... I have followed the Nets since Dc's rookie year.... But GG was a highlight reel waiting to happen.... I have No bad feelings towards him getting his..... But I have to think that Thorn was P!SSED when Proky didn't resign him cos no one can be excused for giving Petro and Trout those contracts! We would of easily been able to sign Green with out that albotross hanging over our heads!

I think he did affect our win/loss total. Off the top of my head, I remember the Warriors game where he made some really clutch baskets to win us the game.

I was pretty unhappy about him not coming back with the Nets, because I think he really would have been a perfect fit here as our backup SF. We need a quality backup SF because Gerald Wallace is bound to get injured at some point in the season. That's why you need a quality backup SF to step up and be an adequate starter for the team. Gerald Green would have been perfect in that role.
