What has James shown? That he was given minutes on horrible teams within 2 seasons of being drafted?

That he has hands of stone?

That he can't shoot?

That he's nearly useless if not grabbing a rebound?

I'm not trying to turn this into a big debate, he's not likely to get many minutes, neither is, but I don't understand what James has shown?

He hasn't shown that he's a legit NBA player, even a 10th to 12th man by any stretch of the imagination.

He hasn't shown any potential as a long term rotation player.

He's basically shown he's tall enough, athletic enough and not too dumb to be a 15th man and nice practice player for a long time as long as he's healthy, that's about it.

Toko might not be in the NBA in a few years, but I'd like to see if that's the case. He begged for a Summer League invite and worked his way onto this team about 2 years early as more or less a walk on and now has his contract guaranteed for the season, he can't be that bad.

He just can't be any worse then James has been thus far in his NBA career, so from what we've seen, James has shown us he sucks and Toko has shown us he should get those garbage time minutes or even critical minutes before him cause he has upside and simply can't be any worse then James, cause even if he sucks bad, James is at best his equal.
Calm down, bro, I don't think either of them are exactly NBA players from what they've shown. Toko is definitely more skilled and talented but way too raw, and unfortunately doesn't have the athleticism to compliment his game. I disagree that James has been complete garbage or horrible when he played for us. He does have stone hands, but he's a pretty good athlete who can rebound, and has shown some transition ability. Like I said, I'm not expecting anything much, but I do think that he's less a liability atm than Toko. Toko is a turnover waiting to happen with the ball, if he ever gets any real minutes. And while Toko's effort on defense (and in general) is outstanding, he hasn't shown me any good defense in the few non garbage times minutes that he earned.
