I want to hear everyone's perspective on our biggest issues right now. Rank them from your biggest concern to least.
1. PJ's inconsistent and ineffective rotations
- I think we can all agree on this. Why can't PJ see certain things don't work, and at times he needs to let guys work through their mistakes instead of yanking them so quickly (i.e. Blatche, Mirza, Brooks)
2. Turnovers
- this is on everyone, from Deron to JJ to Brook. Protect the ball better.
3. Leadership issues
- directed toward Deron, who I think will rebound next year. Just a matter of the whole Avery to PJ thing this year and being with a lot of new guys and another star in JJ
4. Missing player/pieces
- Quality starting PF and wing 6th man are sorely needed.
5. Too many 3 pointers at times
- We need to start driving to the basket more, stop doing ISOs-kickout 3s. Get to the rim more! Draw contact and get fouls.

Re: 5 biggest issues right now
I would add lack of athleticism and being **** in transition. Up tempo teams have killed us because of how slow we are. Rockets, Warriors, and Hawks have all made us look like a lotto team.

Re: 5 biggest issues right now
1. We're too slow. We didn't resign Gerald Green who can finish around the rim. PFs that can't run the floor, can't finish around the basket. And Wallace who isn't good on the break. D Will always walks the ball up...be who's gonna run with him or is that ankle that bad where he's not feeling comfortable to just put it on himself?
2. In our half-court, it's usually 3 on 5. No one really guards Wallace and Evans. So our big 3 can't get the spacing they need. We are not attacking the basket as a result. Our big three are all excellent free throw shooters but the lane is always crowded.
3. Billy King.
4. The team defense is just horrible.
5. we have no assets to trade other than Lopez.

Billy King, P.J., the four spot, no shooters and no one cares on the team.
We really need to get a guy who can hit a damn shot from the outside whether it's at the three or the four. Teams are just doubling us and making Wallace beat them.

Re: 5 biggest issues right now
Let me say this: IT IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT TO FIX. Panic isn't that necessary but awareness is.
1. PJ's inconsistent and ineffective rotations
- PJ is not as bad as Avery but he still is a certified dumbass. Reggie Evans and Humphries kill spacing but let's use them anyway!...The offense becomes 5 on 4 when teams set in their defense. Then, account Wallace has not being an inconsistent finisher and outside shooter, your offense is 3 on 5 against a quality team.
2. Turnovers
- I see more spacing turnovers than unforced turnovers. You'll see a few idiotic turnovers like a Lopez travel, Deron might bounce it off his shoe, etc but the majority of key turnovers comes from poor spacing and not enough hard screens. You don't free up a defender's pressure on defense then you make the offense and game harder.
3. Leadership issues
- Deron, Joe and Brook are all to blame. Deron is the main guy. I can accept everyone else not wanting to say anything because they're new or not use to each other but Deron is the face of the franchise, Brook is now becoming the 2nd face of the franchise and both should have to ability to speak up. Reason why Brook does not say a word is because that's not in his character but he has to find it within him much like Durant did.
Deron doesn't speak up because he knows he's sucked all year and he has no position to speak up but play or no play, he has to lead.
4. No stretch 4s
-Oh wait, we have a 6'9 Mirza Teletovic who would probably make a Sloan Utah offense look genius in Brooklyn if we ran it. The worse part is, Mirza gets maybe 5-7 minutes in games and makes a huge difference but he can't get a consistent role off the bench. It's honestly disturbing at this point how stupid and dumb our coaching staff is.
5. ISO offense
- When the spacing isn't there and Brook can't get into the post or can't get a good look at a jumpshot, the team runs ISO way too much and it's becoming too much of an issue. The team averages 20 assists per game. That's horrible for a team that is supposed to be tailor made for ball movement and everyone getting well balanced scoring.
Some of these issue will be fixed on it's own by next year. No question in my mind Deron will be at 100% focus to get back to his old self just like Carmelo did after having the same type season a year ago and Chris Paul who also had a down year back in 2009.
But the main issues will not be fixed until we make and add proper players to space the floor and who are consistent offense threats that Deron can maximize. He cannot make Wallace better if he's going to stand in the corner and take 3s that he hardly makes at all. He's not going to make Reggie Evans better at all because it's nearly impossible.
You can't fix an issue that is unfixable. Fact is, Wallace/Evans have no business starting together and one has to go and most importantly, the starting lineup needs a PF that can actually pick and pop or shoot the 3 ball.

Good to see someone else has the same mindset as I do regarding the problems with this team.
I also feel like Deron will be much better next year.

Re: 5 biggest issues right now
1) no leadership, effort, or accountability on the court. too much complacency with losses, poor play, or mediocure effort.
2) Defense. its pathetic in 2 major areas: the pick and roll and in the open/full court.
3) missing pieces. we have no legit starting PF(maybe mirza is, who knows). a glutton of 1 dimensional reserve PF's isnt helping us.
4) inconsitency shooting, from basically the entire team. we have one we can count on and say "if that guy is open its going in"
5) too much ISO

Re: 5 biggest issues right now
There is really only one big problem. Our defense sucks.
All the other issues are minor.
We are one of the worst defensive teams competing for the playoffs. Only the Knicks, blazers, and Jazz are worse. And it all begins with our inability to defend the pick and roll.
We are a top 10 offensive team. But, about a bottom 10 defense.
