Sometimes this fanbase is just stupid! The overreactions during every rough patch are just ridiculous and moronic. At times this seems to be worse than the Knicks board, on which I go to read when I need a good laugh.

Sorry, I am a long time reader and I just had to say it right here.

It's only an overreaction because of Philly being terrible. If Philly had 27-29 wins, it wouldn't be such an overreaction.

Coulda-Woulda-Shoulda, all the same BS tbh. Applies also to all the age old critic at the Wallace trade and everything else.

We are sitting at 34 wins, heading into the softest schedule in the league for the rest of the way...

All the teams have rough patches during the course of an NBA season, especially if you have a team which changed basicly all the players during the offseason. I agree, having watched all the games this season, that at times we play horrible basketball, but I can also see that this team can be really good and will be very good when it finds its identity and everything falls into place.

I am a huge fan and I am also disappointed after we lose, especially because it usually ruins my mood for next day because I wake up in the middle of the night to watch the game and if it is a horrible game, then I truly get the feeling sometimes like " This is the crap I got up for?" . But going overboard after every loss is just stupid, especially during the regular season, save some bullets in your suicide gun for the playoffs.

id be much more encourage if we had 2-3 games in a row where we play good complete basketball games. hasnt happened all season, regrdless of w/l or qualiy of opponent. we are no better then the teams above or below us in the playoff standings. in which case i think defense will prevail, and i dont see a playoff team with worse defense then us.

i mean, the hawks, who dumped JJ on us, who have a malcontent who doesnt want to play there, have been as good or better then us. tells you all you really need to know.

Being critical is fine when it's justified, and the play of the team and the Wallace trade both are.

So, we are just going to pretend like they didn't have a good stretch of complete basketball with wins over Portland, Manhattan, Boston (brawl game), Orlando, etc? Are we going to forget the 7 game win streak with wins against teams like OKC, Philly (played better then), etc.

The Nets have had a coaching change, bad season long injuries to the faces of the franchise (Deron/Lopez) and bad coaching still are par with the Hawks at their highest peak. Which tells me, the Nets are their peak is beyond the Hawks at their current and probably last playoff peak.

You just want to feed into your own negativity which is fine but ignoring every positive thing this season to overlap it with nothing but negativity is just ridiculous.

There's a happy medium somewhere. Maybe in Russia, or at Dumont Burger.

Next 14 games... 11 will be on the road.

Train wreck alert up ahead or do the Nets hold their own ?...It is still possible that the Nets finish with the 8th seed and that would be very hard to take after all we have been through these last few years.

Hopefully the team starts playing better soon.

Yes, being critical is not a bad thing, but being critical of the SAME things EVERYTIME something goes bad is just tiring and lame. Its just stupid to bring up the Wallace trade everytime something goes bad and then just daydream how everything in life would be better if we had that draft pick. Whats done is done, get over it and criticize some new things.

And also, there is a huge difference in being critical and going overboard and being absurd with statements.
