Humphries out of rotation; Reggie will continue to start

Post#1 » by Paradise » Wed Mar 6, 2013 8:05 pm

Stefan Bondy @NYDNInterNets
Kris Humphries was informed this morning by PJ Carlesimo that he's out of the rotation, according to a league source

With Reggie Evans starting and Mirza Teletovic in line for getting more minutes, presumably, Hump simply became the odd man out.

uuordsuuords: Just for fun, though: Deron-Joe-Kris-Brook combo is +5.1/100 possessions. Deron-Joe-Reggie-Brook is -4.7/100.

The big surprise folks

Reggie's resume as a starter

- 2nd worst TO% in the league among players who average at least 20 mpg.
- Most 3 second violations on the team (has 6 more than the rest of the team combined).
- 4th worst free throw shooter in the league amoing player who have attempted as many FT as him.
- 22% of his FGA have been blocked this season.
- Shooting .111 from the floor
- 10 of his 18 FGA have been blocked since the AS break.
- Worst pick and roll defender on the team

What a fcking idiot. Reggie should be getting the minutes Teletovic gets in this "specialist" role.

Mirza should be getting 22mpg, Hump 18mpg and Reggie 8mpg. Blatche should get 12 behind Lopez and the extra 2 at the 4. Due to overtime and DNP's minutes per game never adds to 48 per position either, it always goes above, so you can squeeze an extra say 6 to 8mpg out of the 4 and 5 for Blatche to get him up to the approximate 20 he's mainly accustomed to or should be accustomed to.

**** ing awful.

Ownership/Management wants Mirza to get minutes but that sadly doesn't mean our moron of a coach will cut Reggies minutes .

PJ seriously couldn't tell management this during the trade deadline?

We should've traded him to Gordon at the deadline then. Instead of wasting a slot to bench him...

Seriously what a waste. Why wasn't he traded then for even Ben Gordon? Similar contracts, and Gordon would have been an amazing improvement over Brooks. This team is being managed by complete fcking numbskulls.

I think two things happened...

Ben Gordon had that episode with his coach and maybe/probably there has been more to it with attitude concerns and so then the Nets overplayed their hand trying to get Charlotte to throw in a guy like Jeff Taylor or even a BJ Mullens for MorShoot Bricks swap and Charlotte called their bluff.

On the bright side, it shows our coach doesn't care about contracts. On the not-so-bright side, it shows our coach also doesn't care about numbers, spacing, logic, the offense, or recent performance.

To be fair though Hump wasn't very good in weeks either.

I would like PJ to give more minutes to Blatche / Brook and Mirza instead of insisting on playing Evans that much though. Which i doubt will happen. Evans in limited minutes can be ok . If one of Hump/Evans is out of the rotation i'm fine with it. Though Hump should've been traded.....

I'm not shocked. PJ is trolling at this point.
