I don't think anyone gets their jersey retired anytime soon. Even if D-Will won a ring here I doubt that would happen. Only person who could get a potential jersey retirement is VC since nobody has yet to touch that number since he's left but I doubt that would happen too. He does own some Nets records though

If we win a title i would guess D-Will has a shot .If Lopez has a very long career in a Nets jersey he certainly has a decent shot in say 10+ years. .

I think Carter, Deron, and Lopez have outside shots at it.

Carter was one of the best Nets of all time, but he also was only here for a very short period (05-09).

Deron has had a pretty disappointing tenure with the Nets so far, but he's got a chance to turn his play around and win a ring here, so it might be a possibility.

Lopez has been a career Net so far, and like Deron, has a chance to play here for several more years and win a ring.

Vince could, i mean, numbers wise he is an all-time great net, and more impressive doing in such a short time with the team. 24-5-5 for his career here. and carried us on his back to the playoffs the year he got traded to us. that said, might not have been here long enough.

Dwill would need to basically have 5 all-star years in a row and we'd need to make the finals and/or he would need to be our best player for that span over lopez. he has been putrid here so far, injured, and pouty.

if lopez stays healthy and spends all/majority of his career here he will be our all-time leading scorer, and a good loyal guy. he'd get his number retired.

id say 50/50 on vince, 15/85 on dwill, and 65/35 on lopez

VC and Lopez definitely have a chance

Other than that no one has really come close to deserving that honour

If we win a championship Lopez would get his jersey retired before D Will. Think about it, a career Net, who develops into an All Star big man and helps lead the team to a title.

Hell, Lopez would get a statue outside the Barclays Center if we won a ring.

I think Deron will just because the ownership will credit him to putting Brooklyn on the map, yada yada.
