Joe, Brook I understand are quiet guys and so am I but if you are losing and getting your ass beat, you come out and yell at your teammates and send a messsge. You both are the best players and talent on the team, so act like it.

I'm so sick and tired of the lame postgame speeches that never carry over.

Yeah, I agree 100%.

The one thing that I don't like about this team is that our 3 top of players have no fire.

D-Will, JJ, and Lopez basically play with the same intensity (or lack thereof) no matter what's going on.

D-Will will have more pep in his step when he's healthy and feeling it, but that's becoming an uncommon sight as he continues to be plagued by injuries.

I'm tired of all of this BS talk. Talk is not going to change your record. You did enough talking in the offseason. I'd rather not hear anything from Nets players especially when it concerns 'what needs to change'. They've said the same crap over and over again. You're not fooling anyone...you suck.

Shaun Livingston is shooting 22.6% from the field over the last 7 games. Lawson also got anywhere he wanted on the court last night. I know we have a whole host of other problems, but the point guard play without Dwill has been abysmal.

This is what I've been pointing out, and it's something that's become increasingly obvious. But you still get people that wish Deron doesn't come back anytime soon. LOL, we NEED him if we want to be a good team, not just because he's a good player, but he'd be taking the spot of bad players as well.

A healthy, aggressive Deron basically solves all of our problems offensively. We'd have better outside shooting, we'd have smarter decision-making, and we'd get a lot of open looks and easy baskets. And as complementary pieces, KG, Pierce, Johnson, and Lopez would be a lot more effective. This has all been missing without him, especially when both him and Lopez were out. But he can also give us that lift when Lopez is ineffective, like against Denver, and he can even help get Lopez out of a slump by setting him up with good looks. It's no coincidence that Lopez has played the best basketball of his career WITH Deron, not without. Of course, like I said, this is if Deron is healthy and aggressive, which is far from a guarantee. But the sooner he gets there, the MUCH better team we'd be, and everyone should be PRAYING he comes back ASAP. It has nothing to do with his personality or his leadership...he's just a way better player than Livingston or Taylor, and we frankly need all the help we can get.

Our defense is still going to be an issue (we really can't stop anybody, even with KG and Lopez, which is really weird), but at least with Deron, our offense would be able to keep up with anybody.

No Lopez, no JJ.

D-Will is by far the best player in this franchise.

How can you assemble a team of KG, Pierce, Lopez, Deron, Johnson, Kirilenko etc. and NOT hire a real coach?

Mind boggling. Re-assign Kidd to the bleachers and hire a coach with actual coaching experience. This is ridiculous, these players arent responding to someone who they just played against a couple months ago. I mean damn, Kidd was with the same team that knocked KG and PP out of the playoffs and now he's coaching them?

It's an absurd situation really. I don't even know why I thought it would work, I just assumed Kidd was this high bbiq superman who everyone respected and could do anything.

Hollins, Karl, anyone, save us.

Well I had a bad feeling and was right. Had enough liquor in me to watch through some of the 4th.
Can't believe how bad this team is.

Atleast the arena was nice (first time going to barclays) and the food was way better than MSG.

The thing is though, how often are coaches ever hired mid-season? Coaches are fired and just replaced by guys already with the team.

A new HC needs all of training camp/preseason to implement their system.

Frankly, I blame this loss on Lawrence's scouting.
