What does Pierce have to do with Brook? (Unless you meant that as two unrelated statements.)

I was saying that we don't have elite wing defense to cover for Brook's inability to stop the midrange game.

I know that Brook can't stop the midrange game, but replacing him with Asik and saying "we have Johnson and Pierce" regarding offense isn't really much of a selling point here.

But I never made that argument.

I was solely talking about defense.

I wasn't saying that Brook's offense is expendable because we have enough offense from JJ and Pierce.

If we traded Brook and received Asik in return, it would have to be in a 3 or 4-team deal. On top of that, I'd only agree to something where we get another offensive player back in addition to Asik (players like Afflalo, Wesley Matthews, Trevor Ariza, Harrison Barnes).

Although having D-Will, JJ, Pierce, Blatche as your core of big scorers along with a player like Afflalo or Wesley Matthews is more than enough scoring potency for an offense.

I totally understand your point. And that said, Paul Pierce can burn in hell. I'd rather stick with Brook.

The complete lack of offensive sets pisses me off so so so so much.

I wish Shaw was our coach, I saw an interview recently where he said his offence contains some triangle, flex and several other offences and he just works through the plays looking to exploit weaknesses in the defensive schemes in the opposition.

It's funny how simple it sounds but it really is simple. It's also obvious we have no offence at all that we run and it is completely free lance.

Do you know Kidd decided to stop the Knicks getting points in the paint because he didn't think the Knicks were a threat from the 3 point line....I mean are you freaking kidding me?!?
