It warms the soul to read Paradise's harsh words towards this franchise. Everything that he wrote is on point.

When Mirza went on his little scoring outburst, that was the highlight of the game from a Net fan perspective. That was the only time that I enjoyed the game, or watching the Nets play period over the last two weeks.
That guy seems to be getting into a groove, and is looking like he can actually do more than just stand on the wing and jack up threes....and the jackass head coach takes him out.

Three players on this roster are worth a damn, and he benches them to "show them a lesson".

No, the lesson needs to be shown by never putting KG and Pierce into these games. I don't give a **** what these celtics homers on here think, those two dudes flat out suck balls and its clear to me that Doc had more to do with keeping these two corpses animated last year than anything else.

Or Kidd might want to try to play KG more than 22 minutes per game.

You know I keep reading how Kidd has tried everything with this group, different lineups etc. but the only thing that he hasn't tried is to play these guys heavier minutes. What's the purpose of resting these guys if we're not going to be able to make the playoffs at all? There's no consitency. He's just subbing out people in random patterns it seems.

You can't play for someone who doesn't know how to coach, it's as simple as that.

Blatche has been a total disappointment this year and I think we have to blame both the player and the coach.

Kidd has given Dray the longest leash on the team. He's benched the entire starting 5 multiple times to send a message, but I've never seen him bench Blatche to send a message for playing like an idiot.

He''s part of the same collection of players as Monta Ellis, JR Smith, Jordan Crawford, Jamal Crawford, etc. Very talented players who at times will make low IQ selfish decisions. Coaches need to be tough on these guys and make sure they cut out the BS.

Ellis has been night and day since his Milwaukee days. He has actually been an efficient player this year playing winning basketball. The turnaround can largely be attributed to Rick Carlisle the best coach he's ever played for that won't put up with the nonsense.

Jordan Crawford is far and away having the best season of his career. Playing efficient, winning basketball for the first time ever. There's no secret that Brad Stevens, a brilliant basketball mind, is the man behind this.

JR Smith has been terrible this year, but as Woodson's golden child he can get away with it. He knows he'll still get his minutes despite playing inefficient losing basketball. Woodson has subbed a THJR playing great in the 4th just to watch JR chuck it away. Karl gave JR a much shorter leash and would bench his ass when he played like an idiot.

We need a coach that will be hard of Blatche. Instead we have a guy encouraging him to take 3's and play inefficient basketball. He has post moves, make him operate in the post not 20 feet away from the basketball hoop like he's a 2 guard. Tomorrow Mirza can start 4/4 from 3, but right at the 6 minute mark that dumbass will take him out for Blatche. He will continue to make mistake after mistake after mistake and not give a single **** because he knows nothing will come of it. After the way he played yesterday he doesn't deserve a single minute tomorrow. Teach him a lesson already Kidd.

Well, you have to start wonder why these players are playing like "absolute ****". Garnett is well known to be a rhytm player who doesn't do well in shorter spurts. That's why Doc had him on the floor for atleast six minutes at a time, Kidd can have him out there for 3-4 minutes and sub him out. What can you accomplish in those kind of minutes? You can barely get going.

Imagine if Scott Brooks subbed out Westbrook after 4 minutes into the game and then threw him back in there in the second quarter for another 4 minutes, and maybe two minutes to finish the quarter. It's just a horrible way to manage minutes. Even Doc touched on this earlier this month and flat out said that he's playing KG too few minutes and Kidd responded with "that's his opinion". It was working for Doc for six straight years, so Kidd might want to re-think the way he's managing minutes or he can continue to lose games.

The truth is probably that Kidd THOUGHT he would be able to play these guys 22 minutes, and play the bench alot and still be able to win this year, hell, even I thought he could get away with it. But it was a miscalculation, this team isn't as good as it looks on paper. So you adjust, but Kidd doesn't. He sticks with what he's been doing since day one, as if the Nets were the Spurs, but they're not.

Man :censored: KG.

Kidd can't help that washed up stiff to hit jumpshots and defend. No more excuses.

Yup, I was still fine when brook went down thinking we could make a celtics-esque run and grab the 6 or 7 seed eventually.

But... this team just has no heart. it is the same thing as last year. they just arent deeply vested in winning. They have had like 6 or 7 MAJOR things they could have rallied around at several points this season, and failed miserably to do so every time.

We were embarassed by bad teams, called out by other players/coaches, had frank get 'reassigned', had lopez go down to injury, etc... this kind of adversity... leaders and winners rally around that. we dont have any leaders or winners, and that now has become obvious.

KG has been a monumental failure. It is sad what once was one of the GOAT leaders/competitors in this game has become jsut another net player who sulks and doesnt show and fight/fire. Dwill and Johnson arent those guys. I had hopes kidd would ne, but he is just another excuse maker.

thats one thign i cant blame king for. he identified the leadership issue and brought in reputation leaders. they failed him.

It needs to be blown up. Dwill needs to go. Lopez needs to go if we can get anything. I'd be ok keeping pierce, to at least keep the one competitor we have around for the new pieces to come in. KG needs to just hang it up and retire.

what an awful awful season. worst for me in sports since the jets went 1-15

+1 on this...

When KG plays some kind of defense or stops throwing up bricks or shows an ounce of leadership he can think about playing more minutes. right now he is better off hanging them up then playing more
