Finally in the playoff picture. Feels good, man.

EDIT: This is also the KG i signed up for. The KG that can hit wide open 18 footers and the KG that is disruptive on the defensive end.

I'm not going to completely take back what I said about Kidd but in terms of his overall philosophy and the direction he's taking the team, I really like what he's doing right now.

This is most likely out of necessity but going to Pierce at PF is a risky and very progressive move. Not something most coaches would've done. The advantages on offense are obvious (spacing, aggressive Pierce, ball movement) but even on defense - it allows us to switch more since JJ and PP can handle most SG/SF/PFs in spurts. Doesn't hurt us as much as you'd think - especially with KG protecting the rim on the floor and the fact that most post ups are inefficient if defended properly.

Playing Blatche ONLY at Center is huge. He's SO much better when he can attack slower players. Unless Blatche is having one of his monster games, he's fine at 20-25 minutes. After that, he gets a little crazy.

Teletovic got 29 minutes tonight. He only took 5 shots but Kidd understood that his presence on the floor was a giant positive for us tonight. When MT33 and AK47 are on the floor - good things happen.

It's sad how people will look at AK47's box score and wonder why he isn't playing better. This guy is awesome. His per-minute stats are good and they still don't do him justice. He crushed it in Minny and he's doing the same here. No one in the league does what he does.

Ending on a bad note - Jason Terry is terrible. I hope he picks it up to the level he was playing last year. It's embarrassing that he can't even play spot minutes at PG. Fortunately, we have Pierce, JJ, and AA who are decent ball handlers. As long as he hits his 3s and open mid-range shots at an acceptable rate, I can't complain. We just can't afford to fall apart when Livingston is out like he's LBJ or something. SHAUN IS NOT THAT GOOD :lol

Sidenote: That Warriors 2nd unit is beyond terrible. I can't believe MJax has the audacity to play them all together.

AK47 has been the team's best player imo

Two plays stood out last night.... one time when on a loose ball it went out of bounds on a Nets player and AK jumped to grab it and throw it off Klay Thompson's leg. The other when there was like 1 second left on the shot clock and he smacked the ball so it went off the rim, leading to us getting an offensive rebound and a new shot clock.

Guy is just plain SMART.

We win....again? WTF???? Still not giving my hopes up yet but can appreciate actual wins!!!!

My two favorite plays are

1. Mirza halftime beater(those 3 pts were the difference lol)

2. Livingston's wraparound for the dunk!

My sports teams are currently experiencing suckiness. Please pardon the mess.

What a great game. I know we arent better without williams and lopez... but damn, we certainly play harder without those 2... or more likely, we have more guys who play hard in the rotation without those two.

Mirza, Kirilenko, Anderson, Evans, Livingston, plumlee. those guys all play hard every second on the floor. and they are getting more minutes now with the injuries.

Joe Johnson plays more energetic when he gets more volume. he isnt selfish in that he will defer to lopez and williams, but when he has to be more involved i think it helps. Garnett, the last 2 games has really brought it. he might be the same as joe in that he needs to be more involved cause early on he was dogging it.

Kirilenko just makes an enormous difference. hope he stays healthy and can eventually start and go 25-30 minutes.

I also have to mention I was REALLY disappointed at our 3pt defense to start. Giving up six 3s in the first 6 minutes of the game is unacceptable when Curry/Klay 3s are the staple of their offense. It just shows a lack of focus - fortunately, it was a wake up call.

I'm glad we buckled down and held them to only like 3 of them for the rest of the game. Showed a lot of character. We were close to being buried that quarter.
