I have to wonder if off-season surgery before the year should have happened and wonder again if it should happen at the end of this year. But that's a medical issue and I'm not a doctor.

As far as shutting him down, I'm not so sure. The Nets right now, I think, are at a crossroads. If they can redeem themselves this season, they can remain (more or less) a thriving franchise in the eyes of many. And it might not scare away potential signings. Of course, ultimately there are medical issues here too.

I have to ask: are you able to type a little bit or did someone help you?

Cheers.

I don't think that's necessary. He does need to just man up and get surgery because it's clearly a bone spurs issue that has to be cleaned up. I get he's afraid of procedures but you can't be a franchise player and afraid of having to go under the knife for the better of yourself and your organization, teammates, fanbase. It's honestly embarrassing that New York Basketball is represented by Deron and Carmelo who both swear off against any forms of surgery while guys like Kobe, CP3 take it like men.

No, i don't think Dwill should sit out the rest of the season. I do think he needs to take his time to come back though. As stupid as this sounds I'd love for BKN to go after Bynum.

If you guys secure Bynum. You guys have 7 more games in January. Toughest opponents are Dal & OKC both at home. If possible to pull off a 5-2 type of record, you'd be what 2 games back of the Atlantic at 20-24? If that lol.

I'd say give him another 2-3 weeks off to rest his feet. He needs to loose some weight in the process. Come back with a rotation of

Dwill-Livingston
Johnson-Anderson
Pierce-Ak47
Garnett-Mirza
Blatche-Bynum

Or start Bynum to go real slow 1st quarter lol. Doesn't matter. Thats still a lot of talent on that team. Get that 4 seed & anything can happen.

Bynum? you want a team that plays with low energy and no passion to add a guy who admittedly doesnt really care about basketball? thats your fix?

Nice video man, good job. I agree with much of what you had to say. I do believe Deron Williams needs to get surgery and his ankles are adversely affecting his performance. Where I disagree is I think they should look for the short-term fix and then he should have the surgery in the offseason. If he can come back next week and look like he did post All Star break last year then it will be huge for the team. I think either way it well help having him back since the Nets have struggled when Livingston has come off the court during his absence. It was evident during the early 4th of the Raptors game when Livingston came out how much the team struggle offensively without any on the floor who can create their own shot. No DWill means more Terry, which is also not a good thing.

Yes, I agree that the Clippers could be a viable trading partner if we look to trade the Celtics and restart. However, I think we should wait till it gets closer to the All Star break. If this team can sustain its recent level of play they will hopefully be in a better spot by then. KG has looked much better at center on the defensive end, anchoring the D, and his defense was key in the recent winning streak. Pierce has too looked better since he has moved to the 4. He has played with greater effort on D and is a mismatch on offense when 4's are trying to guard him. If they revert to the level of play prior to the turn of the new year then I agree with you that they should look to trade.

Sorry for the long response. In short I'm more in a wait see mode right now. See how Deron looks upon his return. See if this team can continue to play well leading up to the All Star break before making any moves.

Once again I enjoyed the video and will look for more stuff from you in the future.

Pass on Bynum. He'd be only a patch short term anyway. In theory (i.e. when healthy), the Nets are o.k. at Center.
Garnett fills in for Lopez this year and Lopez fills in for Lopez the next (I can hope!). Blatche and Plumlee there too.
