We put together a great team.

And all of you can pretend that you weren't super hyped and didn't have high expectations, but you all did.

There is a great deal of talent on this team. We just haven't played well. And thats not on the GM.

It is FEBRUARY and this team is below .500. Stop trying to pretend that they are anything but an embarrassment

Again, the supporting cast is excellent, I agree with that. But the supporting cast wasn't meant to lead the team (guys like Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett weren't supposed to be our best players), that was supposed to be Deron Williams, and he's fallen flat on his face, hence the poor record.

You know, people that are overly optimistic and act like we're doing great and point to all the built-in excuses can be annoying...but equally annoying are the pessimists who refuse to look at context and will constantly berate everyone with their "sky is falling" narrative.

we salvaged a horrific team by adding a couple of good but semi-washed up vets. we absolutely did NOT put together a great team.

Dwill/JJ/Lopez is the very defenition of an underachieving treadmill core that will give you 40-50 wins but little else. we added some real leaders, but our core regressed fast and it has basically resulted in the trash you see here.

Even an average GM would have had us as fringe contenders right now. there is no reason we dont, at worst, right now have something like: Dwill/Harden/Dwight or Dwill/Anthony Davis with all our picks in tact.

king did as bad a job as realistically possible without intetionally trying to ruin the team
