Sacramento buying out Fredette

The numbers seem to indicate that the more time he played, the less efficient he was at scoring.

However, one can easily make the argument that Jimmer has just become a more efficient shooter since his rookie year which is why we're seeing him become more efficient in less minutes.

I think it's a mix of both. If we didn't have Thornton nor needed a good backup big, I'd look to pick him up. As much as we can look at the numbers and think, oh he's just a diamond in the rough and SAC just misused him, he could very well just not be cut out to do serious damage in the league.

As I said before, I'd love to see him in an Eddie House type of role to see how well he performs. Limit the amount of time he's out there so he can't abused on defense too long, but let him come in and just gun away if he has an open shot (since he looks to be an elite 3pt shooter).

fredette is an awful NBA who doesnt do anything that we need from a player. he is a terrible horrific option as a 3rd point gaurd. swapping one horrible player with another makes no sense. at least teague si only 20 and has a small chance to improve

In Prokorov's world, Fredette is an awful NBA player who doesn't help us any bit, but he's perfectly fine and even happy with Collins being signed here for the rest of the season.

Good point... would have been nice having him get 10-15 minutes a night for us playing point instead of Teague.
