Buy a pick that will be late second round and draft Patric Young of Florida. He has a limited game now, but it's comprised of defense and rebounding and has a ton of potential to improve. I think he'll slip to a pick in the 40s and maybe we can get him. Focus on working with the frontcourt of Plumlee and Young for future years.

Prok and I wanted him last year if he would've declared for the draft.

LOVE patric young. he would be a great fit. young, athletic, crazy motor, great finsiher. super raw but would be a good 2nd round investment for sure... i think his game translates more in the pros then college as well

Buying picks has gotten increasingly harder. No one wants to sell 1st round picks anymore and second round picks are hard to buy too.

Udrih has been picked off waivers so that option is gone.

Tbh, I never saw Udrih being an option for us. We never showed any interest and I think they're looking for another SF/PF/C anyway.

I'm just not a fan of having both our PGs in the starting lineup with Marquis Teague as emergency backup.

Oh I agree...I just meant that I never saw BK going after another PG.

If D-Will or Shaun has to miss significant time, oh boy...

Is it possible that the Knicks won't resign Shannon Brown for the rest of the season and we can give him a 10 day to see if he works out?

I'm still going to hold out hope that Teague will turn into a nice rotation player, but I think he needs to be getting play time with the Armor. If we keep going Shaun and Deron, we should invest in giving an experienced guard a 10 day and see if it sticks.

What about Rodrigo Bubois?

where would shannon brown or a FA PG find minutes on this team? as it is alan andersons minutes have been cut since thronton has come on board. its not like teague is playing outside of blowouts.

dwill/livingston/jj/pp/kg

aa/mt/ak/mirza/blatche/plumlee

teague/collins

whose minutes would shannon brown take?

you can say we are screwed if dwill got hurt but the last time he got hurt we played our best basketball of the season

i dont see what jersey sales has to do with it.... jersey sales get split among all 30 teams and all the sales on collins jerseys are being donated, so the nets get no money from that.

it does put more nets gear on the street, and have people wearing nets jerseys who might not have worn them otherwise, and maybe bring in new fans... is this a bad thing?

again whose minutes does thomas take and how does he really help us? he was shooting like 35% from the field.

same with earl clark. dude was shooting 38% from the field but he was gonna come here and make a big impact? i like clark cause he is a jersey guy but he is kind of a tweener and not a great rebounder.

our rebounding issues can only be solved by moving pierce back to the 3 and bringing in a PF who can start and control the glass. having a rebounder come and take mirza's 8-10 spot minutes wont solve the rebounding issue.

It would be only if we continue the 2 PG lineup and he would only see time if Deron and Shaun were in foul trouble. I hate Anderson running the point. Would rather see him play the 2 guard or SF. I wouldn't have him in the rotation regularly. He would replace Teague on the bench and we could afford to have Teague play with the Armor.
