This team relies on so many streaky players, if you bench Teletovic, might as well bench Thornton, Blatche, Anderson when they have cold shooting nights.

The team still hasn't fixed their two fundamental flaws, not enough speed and no true power forward. The ceiling is capped this season, they will not get by teams in the playoffs who play big traditional lineups like Chicago, Washington, and Indiana.

Finding a true dependable PF should be one of the main priorities over the summer. Boston is not even that much of a bruising team in the paint but they had almost 20 more rebounds than the Nets

the difference is when those guys arent hitting shots they give you other things. Anderson defends, Thornton is a high energy player who gets his hands in passing lanes and on the ball, blatche can get to the rim and rebound.

teletovic really doesnt give you much outside of long range shooting.

i think we also need some intense high energy players. playing with energy can be contageous, we need a starter with a high motor. when pierce is that guy it translates to other players. but he hasnt been consitent with it himself

This year, he caught fire and played well for a stretch and once the scouting report came out the guy made no adjustments and he has been god awful ever since.

This looks like a failed experiment.

He's missing wide open shots though. Not really sure how that equates to teams defending him better.

Should have traded him at the deadline. His value will never be as high.

I actually like Thornton's speed on the court, so I would give him a longer leash. AA stinks to high hell and you have to live with Blatche's idiocy because we don't have any other offensive bigs. Mirza gives us nothing when he isn't scoring.

And I totally agree with you. We need a PF badly.

Great game for mirza yestarday.... it seems like his whole game suffers when he isnt hitting shots. cause when he is scoring his effort on defense picks up and he is more active on the glass.

something he needs to work on. but great to see he has picked it up the last couple games
