Also, no switch has been flipped. We've been playing like this for quite a while. We have a top 5 record in the league in 2014 and the sample size is pretty large. Some of you have just had blinders on. This is definitely the best win of the year but our great play is not a recent thing. I'm glad some of you finally see that now. But keep it going - nothing is better than seeing the first two pages filled with absolute loss predictions and the end result being a W.

Oh PLEASE. So the beatings at the hands of the Thunder, Blazers, and the Boston loss did not happen? Let's not play revisionist.

Either way, the effort has been superb, and that's all that matters.
You choose 3 games out of 34, That says a lot. Do you not expect the Nets to lose games?

Yes, that's exactly what I said  they should never lose, ever. Spare me. You know exactly what I meant.

Hell, if you want to be obtuse and start ****, by all means go ahead.... whatever makes you dudes happy. I'm just happy the team is winning games, has established an identity, is playing hard, and is now not only beating the teams they are supposed to but they are posting legit victories against solid clubs.

2 terrible efforts and 1 bad (but not terrible) loss erases a 30 game sample size?

No one's playing revisionist. We laughed at you when you predicted we would go 6-20 over our last 26 games because the team was playing pretty well. They've BEEN playing well since the New Year. You predicted that we would implode based off of your hate and negativity. Let's be real.

You were wrong when you made that prediction. Just admit it, it's not a big deal. Just don't come on here acting like there's been a change.

Oh shut the **** up with this "hate" nonsense. Within the midst of that 30 games were some absolute stinkers and for a 15 game stretch after January's hot start the Nets were not playing with the intensity and effort that they are playing with right now, so to say that the way they have performed in the wins against Chicago, Toronto, and Miami was a common occurrence is a load of bull and revisionist as all hell.

And who says I didn't admit to being wrong? I am GLAD I AM **** ING WRONG. Why the **** would I want the Nets to play that badly just to be proven right, what would i get out of that? Who roots for their own team to lose? Being negative about their performance and rooting for a team to lose are totally separate, but clearly you aren't intelligent enough to separate the two. I'm not a blind homer like you, the team has to go out there and perform before I put faith in what they can do. So yes, the SWITCH has been flipped.

So I'm a blind homer because I recognized we were playing well? Because I saw that once we changed our team philosophy, the results and process have been overwhelmingly positive? There were definitely some blunders in there but the good outweighed the bad by A LOT. We've been trending upward for awhile. Even during our 7-6 stretch. This isn't a completely new team or anything.

Am I really a blind homer for thinking we'd be better than 6-20? That prediction was clearly blind hate or idiocy. NOTHING pointed to that type of negative performance. We were playing close games with good teams, losing on the 2nd half of road back-to-backs - stuff that isn't a huge concern. Anyone with eyes could see it - hence EVERYONE on the board, including mods, getting tired of you, Prok, and calamity's act. I wasn't the only one.

Your prediction was laughed at by everyone including Prokhorov - one of the more negative guys on here. So you think you were being a real "fan" and being "realistic?" While predicting an implosion for no reason? Coming into EVERY single game thread and predicting a loss or a blowout loss? But I'm the blind one?

As long as you know you're wrong NOW and you were wrong THEN, I'm okay with ending this conversation. Don't act like you made a good prediction and the Nets just flipped a switch.
