Yeah anderson needs to be glued to the bench. He was trash again tonight and took some terrible 4th quarter shots

Great win.

Loved DWill. Great great game by him.

Defense lapsed in second half...& then picked up again.

JJ was hot!

Plumlee was very active,

SDot - bunch of dunks & great D .

Truth - solid 10 point supportive role. Sat out Q4 cause he was not needed.

I was center court first row. Great seats. Barclays was not **** loud enough, dammit!

Virtually tied with Wiz for 5 seed & riding up the Bulls ass for 4 seed.

Bobcats & Hawks both 4 games back in L column.

Time to crush the **** Bobcats on Wed!

Marcus Thornton was just as bad, if not worse. 2/8,2 turnovers, team worst -8. One of the two needs to play.

And in retrospect, in a game like tonight it was great both of them played the 4th. Gave Pierce and Johnson the 4th quarter off and some rest in front of a big game Wednesday.

DWill was definitely the MVP of the night, but Johnson had a great game as well. 7/11 19 points, 5 assits, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 0 turnovers including a big stretch in the 3rd to blow this game open. He's quietly had a very good month of March,

I criticized Deron's defense against Wall. Tonight he was a beast offensively and he took care of Bledsoe on the defensive end. He was aggressive offensively and very active defensively. Perfect game from him.

The team seems to have taken the identity of Andray Blatche...from game to game, you'll get Good Nets or Bad Nets.

This is true but it cracked me up.

This was a must win and they did it. The goal in my mind is to run the table leading up to the rockets game.

Not saying we can't win, but the Mavs game, on the road no less, is a must win? That would be a really quality win imo, and not necessarily a game that would be a disappointment if we lost.

And have won 8 of our last 10. Though the way a few posters post on here you would've thought we were 2-7 this month. Our losses have been unexpected and we've gotten a couple of quality wins, including tonight against a young, hungry Suns team fighting to get a playoff spot. Whether they make it or not Hornacek has done a fantastic job with that team this season. Stotts was my early pick but now it may be between Hornacek and Casey, with a few votes going to Clifford.

If you're hoping for the Nets to have a 1st rd playoff series with homecourt advantage, then yes, it is a must win.

Unless you feel comfortable being the 5th, 6th, or even 7th seed. I don't. The team is awful away from Barclays.

We've been a little better on the road recently so I think right now we are a little better than awful. That circus trip at the end of february gives me hope. I think we can steal one on the road during the playoffs, but I would feel alot better with home court advantage.

Great games by Johnson and Williams. when they both play well we are tough to beat. those 2 are the keys to us doing anything. Pierce's leadership is great and needed as well. I know KG has been great defensively but im not too concerned about him, i think going small ball and our gaurds playing well are really what matters if we want to win.

What was big about JJ and Dwill wasnt just the stat lines, but both of them went on their own personal scoring runs the 2 times the suns got the lead back to single digits. those are big baskets.

that JJ three was insane

Pretty crazy we're so bad on the road this year, when we were tied for the 5th best road record in the entire league last year.

Despite what our final overall record is though, I think this team is better than last year regardless. We've actually been beating good teams on a consistent basis, as opposed to last year.

Both teams turned it around after the New Year, right? Here are our post-New Year records against teams .500 or better (2014 record subject to change, obviously):

2014 Nets: 10-8

consistent teams don't lose against the Celtics or wizards who were on a back to back.

Those losses were disappointing but losing a game or two doesn't mean they haven't been consistent. The clippers lost last night after winning 11 straight, are they now inconsistent?

So the Nets aren't allowed to lose games of any kind? Gotcha.

they aren't allowed to lose games against teams they should easily beat. If they lost to a team like the warriors or clippers or whatever then its not as bad. You can't say a team is consistent when one night they beat Miami then get embarrassed by boston
