I had a problem with him almost never being called out no matter what happened.

he has been called out as much if not more then warranted. he has been our best player this season and really just had one 3-4 week stretch of poor play when he had the the tendanitis. other then that he has been pretty rock solid.

another thing is in games where he has played poor everyone else did as well, so he wasnt singled out.

not to mention he isnt as talented as dwill, thus as much isnt expected

I was cheering as hard as anyone else when Johnson was on fire this game, I love it when Johnson is hitting his shots and playing within the offense, and I thought he played a fantastic overall game. He deserves props.

But for as much as he doesn't get praise when he plays well...he also gets away from a lot of criticism when he plays poorly, and a lot of that hate gets thrown D-Will's way for no reason. And Johnson is super inconsistent. We were making fun of Thornton for having a monster game one night, and then disappearing the next night...Johnson is basically a rich man's version of that. That's been the story of his entire Nets career.

This is what we needed last time to beat the Mavs in Dallas. Definitely not going to get that this time, but hopefully, they pull off a win. What an awesome win that was, both Deron & Brook killed them.

I think there's a pretty decent chance that Deron has a big game again, he loves playing in Dallas. And we have a number of guys that could catch fire and give us a great 1-2 punch, like Johnson, Pierce, Teletovic, Blatche, or even Thornton.

Johnson is inconsistent. no denying that. this season dwill has been more inconsistent. and this year and last year dwill was basically a no show the first 40-50 games. its easier to criticize a guy for long stretches of poor play then it is good and bad play mixed in.

johnson has been really good this year. outside of february he has actually been really consistent.

im not worried about dwill. calderon/harris shouldnt be an issue for him...

Marion on johnson is another story as is defending VC.

i think we just need one of Pierce or Johnson to play well and to keep dirk under 30 points and 12 free throws
