AK47 in the final seconds of a close game

Post#1 » by ChampionRed » Tue May 6, 2014 1:18 pm

Two times now I've noticed that when AK is on the bench for the final seconds of a close game, he's sitting and watching how the game plays out on the jumbotron! Two examples:

Notice AK when they show the Nets' bench reactions. I don't know how unusual this is or if you guys know of anyone else who does this but I definitely found it interesting.

It's funny because from I heard about AK before this year, he's actually very carefree and loose about basketball off the court. Him just chilling on the bench is proof of that. I hear him and Deron used to clash in Utah because AK was very chill about W/Ls after games and for Deron it was life or death.

He always watched the jumbotron in Utah too. And Deron and AK clashed because Deron is a douche.

Jazz fan? Check.

Jerry Sloan as his avatar? Check.

Your comment doesn't seem biased at all.

I know a couple of people in the Jazz organization who have unanimously said that Deron was a difficult locker room presence. Has he changed since coming to Brooklyn? Maybe, clearly he and AK are on different terms...but if you watched the Jazz from 2007-2009 it was clear AK and Deron didn't get along.

I don't know about then, but they're good friends now, and have vacationed together with their families. As for Deron being a difficult person to work with, that's probably true.
