So opening night is looking more like a case of a young, energetic, underrated team which this team will likely have problems with this season..

I really want the Nets to win the next 3 vs. Min, NYK, and Orl. Those are all winnable especially at home. I want those 3 Ws because they have 3 games in 4 nights the next weekend, vs. PHX vs POR vs GSW, so these next couple weeks will be very revealing as to what type of team we're going to see this season. All in all though great win, and onto Minny

i actually like our chances vs pheonix and portlant better then i do against the knicks and magic as odd as that sounds...magic are too fast, athletic, play too hard and it too early in the year for the losing to have worn on them. Knicks have just owned us lately and are playing well. that wil be tough too

Again, I like to take this game as a great confidence booster for the team knowing they can play with quality. OKC were short handed for sure so that needs to be accounted but lets keep it up and play Brooklyn ball!

PS - its going to be stressful season for me cuz I think I caught myself a few times holding my breath when Lopez or Dwill go for layups, dunks or falls.... LOL.... damn glass men!

I was kind of hoping to see dwill throw down a dunk when he got that steal and open lane in the back court. would have been a nice confirmation on those ankles if he threw down a reverse like he did vs the bulls in the playoffs

I was glad he didn't. I don't want him taking unnecessary risks. Same reason I cringe when Lopez goes up hard, even though I like watching him do so.

the way i look at it, if those guys can go hard, 100%, and stay healthy then we probably arent going to get very far anyway. i understand the other, cautious view though

Not much to say on this game that wasn't already said. Good win and performance no matter who it was against. Domination from start to finish, the way it should be.

And my condolences to Paradise and his family.
