Awful.

What are you expecting, really? at the end of the day this team is severely lacking athleticism, i expect us to struggle throughout the season, hopefully we at least make the playoffs, i want another series vs the raps, they do not scare me.

Jack with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and Mason with 14 points, 12 rebounds.

Seriously, that's kind of embarrassing that our two 'role players' making a combine 7 million in salary are massively outplaying our stars.

Sure is. I want to trade Brook so bad, too bad his value is crap right now.

Everyone hates on Jack but we are 3-0 with him as the starting PG.

You need to appreciate his mid range pull up jumper, it's a thing of beauty. It looks like a low percentage shot but he has consistantly hit it at a 50% clip over the last few years. That makes bigs have to come out to guard him which then leads to easy Plumlee rolls to the rim.

It's time to ship DWill out for a defensive minded SG.

He had a block and 3 steals too.

Dont short change him.

It was one of the best performances by a Nets player all year and you were complaining about him late in the game.

Dwill and Lopez might have the edge on jack and Plumlee in talent,

but they don't have a fraction of the heart of those 2

That is a lot of money sitting on the bench in the last 5 minutes between Dwill, Brook, KG.

I hate Anderson so much, but he played well tonight. Hit some clutch shots jesus.

Wasn't pretty, but you guys are 13-15 now. 2 game home stand now with sub 500 teams coming in. Perfect chance to get to 15-15. Always root for Bk. Hope you guys can get it together a little earlier this year.

Surprised to see people unhappy here. I thought this was a pretty impressive win after it looked like it wouldn't be our day. The Celtics crowd was into it, and the Celtics team were playing really well, killing us in transition & in the paint. We made a really good comeback on the road, and our team made some big plays to get finally get a 3 win streak going. Props to Jack who has been balling and hit that huge go-ahead bucket. Also to Alan Chuckerson who made some amazing shots today.

Keep Lopez move Dwill. Jack isnt as talented but damn sure runs the team better. Dwill made the worst play possible on that fast break giving it up to JJ who then gave it to lopez for a charging foul. A good pg would have drove in for the foul or the bucket and 1 but Dwill is now afraid of contact.

I also hate that now that Dwill is back Karasev's minutes are down. He is a good player and has fun on the court and isnt afraid to take a shot.

Mirza is hurting the team when he is in a shooting slump good god, defensively hes terrible.

I would have liked to see CJ get some minutes on Green early when he was hot, CJ has the length and speed to deal with players like that. JJ was giving him too much space.

Good win, most BKN teams would have collapsed and went home.

There's an expectation that the team is much better than what we actually are. It only takes a two game winning streak before people on the other site are seriously commenting on how the East is wide open and we have a shot.

People need to smell the roses and start taking off the blinders. For whatever reason, we have a core that is collectively pretty bad. The most expensive trio in the league (sadly) is also the trio that underperforms the most.

We are what we are...a team that at its peak will win 40+ games and at its worst will win 30+.

We don't need to wait for more time to pass so players can be super-healthy in order to judge them. No...the time has passed. We've been 2.5 years and the excuse machine is still running at an all-time high.

Tonight was just a perfect summation of the Nets over the last few years. Our core just can't deliver on a consistent basis and it's exceedingly rare for all 3 to play well together. None of them played well tonight...D-Will was overdribbling, Lopez was ughhh, and JJ just had a bad/off-game (he almost looked depressed that Lopez was back lol).

If we're going to reach that 40+ win mark, we need more play like tonight. We overcame an 11pt defecit, largely with Lopez and D-Will on the bench lol. That should speak volumes about what the true core of this team actually is.

(Plumlee's man defense in the post isn't great, but Lopez was getting beat off the dribble by Olynyk to the basket...smh. If we can't even rely on interior defense to help us out, we'll continued to get murdered in the pain like we did tonight.)

Jack was great today and has been great since becoming starter - but let's not act like he's been doing this all year and Deron deserves to be on the bench. Jack's been really bad most of the year and is often the reason our offense stalls out. I don't want to hear anything about the "heart" he has when all year long he's been selfish, hasn't played a lick of defense, and only takes contested jumpshots. Considering all the minutes and freedom he's had this year, if anything it's alarming that he decides to step it up only when he becomes starter.

Anyway - we seem to be playing with a lot more energy and actually executing our game plans on offense and defense. Nothing bothers me more than an unbiased coach watching our games and wondering why our team looks like they just installed a new offense. We're still not nearly at the level we need to get to though

I think the team does an awful job of involving Joe Johnson. Last year, our play designs for JJ were perfect and simple. Floor spread. Deep position. Plenty of time on the clock to draw a double team or to attack. This year, he's put in too many PNR, too many motion plays. It's not really his game. Not a fan at all of his role in the offense right now. The offense seems like it's better designed for Karasev/Bogdanovic - which is fine. I'm okay with having motion/flex as our base offense. The issue is calling for those JJ post ups when he's feeling good or he has an advantage or just because. (he played badly today but in general - Hollins should look at how he was used last year)

Plumlee's game is awesome right now. If he could make his FTs at a better than horrifying clip, he'd be feared around the league.

The reason why nobody is happy about the win:

1. We're the only team that has managed to make the post-Rondo Celtics look like Toronto.

2. We got our asses kicked on opening night by them. We should have returned the favor.

3. Deron vs Nelson, Brook vs Brandon Wright and they still can't put together a good game. Same with Joe. 27 points one night, outplayed by Jeff Green two nights later.

It's a feel good win for the fact Jack looked awesome and Mason showing his recent play is legit. Aside from that, it wasn't anything good.

Nobody is happy because you are all miserable.

Nets are a bad team and they were playing on the road. Anytime they can win on the road it is a good thing. It's even better when they can cut a 9 point lead in the 4th quarter.

Johnson had a really bad game and we still won. It was his first bad game since 12/12 and we STILL WON.

Hollins is trying to implement a "Next Man Up" mindset on the team and it's working. JJ, Lopez and DWill arent the reason we won this game. Jack, Plumlee and Anderson are. That's a big thing for team chemistry. I think this was the best win of the season in fact and it might be the game that turns the season around.
