Granting, with the salary & inconsistent play it's justified; a stretch of good games "hopefully" might up their value a little.

Right now, we're lucky to get a young player & bag of chips in return...

Here's my thing:

We are fans.

Yet,we watch these players and see Lopez and DWill play like ****.

We saw them playing like **** before they got benched.

Other teams and GMs, scouts etc have seen this **** too

At this point, thinking we'll get a young player and a bag of Doritos is laughable.

Hollins needs to understand that Plumlee is a center and Lopez is a center. Playing them together is a recipe for disaster. Plumlee is playing well. If Lopez wants to earn his time back, he needs to outplay Mason. They'll never learn to play together. He needs to be more strict with his lineups. KG/Mirza need to be the PFs. Plumlee/Lopez need to be the Cs. Jordan can be the 3rd C. The only exceptions should be when we play JJ at 4 (which shouldn't happen against Scola or David West).

Deron will bounce back. He was lost on defense, had no handle of the ball and couldnt finish over Hibbert. Inexcusable but correctable. He was trying to be aggressive and he's still our best playmaker by far. Still clearly rusty from the games off. I'm a lot more concerned about Lopez. This is not the Lopez from last year. Definitely not the Lopez that was an AS. Plumlee's going to make it hard for Brook to even build up his trade value.

Disappointing all around. This can only get worse for me if the Knicks for whatever reason have a better record at the end of the regular season.

exactly they cant hurt their value because they were already #1 and #2 worse contracts and the league for players with rock bottom value

Bounce back to what? the mediocure PG he was before? he is 100% NOT our best playmaker and not close to it if we are being honest. He doesnt get in the lane, he doesnt collapse defenses. Johnson is twice the playmaker and often commands double teams and usually makes the proper passes out of them. Jack is twice as good getting into the lane and as a starter has had a better assist% then dwill has at any point during his nets tenure... which includes his second half in 12-13.

Williams a jumpshooter at this point, not an offense creator. the only offense he creates is pull ups for himself. he doesnt hurt anyone in transition or in the pick and roll or on blow bys. is a healthy dwill a top 10-12 point gaurd? i dont think its a certainty he is. right now he certainly is not. and Jack has matched/outplayed him as a starter.

He shouldnt play until he clearly starts outplaying jack

The Knicks will have a lottery pick and a ton of cap space and one of the league's best scorers under contract.

The Nets will still be capped out, they dont control their pick, and have three of the league's worst deals on the books.

The Knicks may be losing now, but in the long run? They are in a better position. If the Knicks could switch places with the Nets right now I'd be thrilled.
