The Nets are so goddamn BAD that Hollins is gushing over his former players. That's because the core of the Grizzlies are dudes that have PRIDE and play like MEN.

I'm tired of this ****. The Nets roster is filled with PUSSY and BITCHES.

Anyone who says Hollins is the problem is a moron. This man coached a team full of players that actually give a damn to playoff runs in the WEST.

No one in this area cares when the nets suck. Even when the nets win the top basketball news story is the fact that the Knicks are horrible.

Prokhrov has failed basketball wise. Time to sell, and time for new basketball minds instead of a bunch of idiots and opportunists

That's our only hope. And if Prokhorov doesn't sell right now then maybe he finally see the light and fires King.

The absentee owner stood idly by and watched King trade the 6th pick for Gerald Wallace.

This was prior to him costing him millions of dollars in roster salary.

His game is painful to watch and I don't give a damn if he had a good run weeks ago. He IS TERRIBLE at everything that isn't a 16 footer. And his turnovers are a joke. He looked like a scrub out there.

10 free throw attempts in a FULL game is a joke. Giving up 60 points in the paint is a joke. We have no pride whatsoever.

Not much else to say really. This team has no hope and our pathetic ass President/GM has said absolutely nothing about this losing streak. I can't believe we have so many thieves stealing money from this franchise like blood sucking vampires. King, Deron, Joe, Brook. None of them give a sh*t about each other or this franchise. Just a terrible situation. 2016 can't come soon enough.

Billy King's mouth was running hard when he had Prokhorov's money and assets to cover his ass.

Now, this piece of **** is silent.

The Sixers fans WARNED this fanbase the day of his hiring. They warned us.

So, now It's three straight games of this team getting booed off the floor. Yet, Billy King says absolutely nothing.

Was in the building for today's game. Boo's were bad but not that crazy.

Lopez looked like he didn't wanna be there at all. Obviously all the trade rumors have affected the team.

I thought only the scum that went to the Nets games back in Newark and East Rutherford would boo this team off of the floor

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

This franchise is a joke and always will be.

And of course Lopez doesn't wanna be here. He know he's not wanted, and Mason Plumlee is better than him.

The same thing is happening this year as it does every year...

We ask too much from guys who should be ROLE players because our "studs" cannot perform.

It happened with Reggie Evans, Gerald Wallace, Humphries, etc.

Guys like Jack, Anderson, Mirza are all floundering b/c they feel the need to play like all stars, when they definitely are not even close, b/c our main guys cannot get it done. These guys should be in confined roles.

Deron, Brook, and Joe are supposed to be combining for 50+ points, 15+ assists, 15+ rebounds, and so forth, every night because that's what they're paid to do. They cannot do this. Therefore role/bench guys are thrust into the spot light. Sometimes they can step up and hit a big shot, make a big play, or even have an impact on a whole game (like when Mirza goes off for 6 3 pointers or something like that).

It's sad to watch the same trend happen over and over again in Brooklyn. We should have had something nice, but all our cap money is tied up in guys that are worth not even HALF of their contracts.

I'm so pissed off at this team and franchise.

This game is an easy breakdown...

1) we played a .500+ team, the loss was a given

2) Joe is gone. either completely burned out or mentally checked out (probably a bit of both). Either way team would be smart to conjure up a fake injury and give him 4 or 5 consecutive days off. he has played every game and is averaging 37 minutes a night, and asked to carry alot of the load.

3) Brook Lopez has become strictly a jump shooter. If he is going to take that many jumpers he needs to work on his 3 point shot. shooting long 2's as a 39% shooter doesnt help the team. id rather he shoot 3's at 30-33% and at least then it would create spacing. teams are daring and begging him to take that long 2

4) Mirza killed us. he even shot well from 3 but overall was a negative.

Someone else said it well. we are asking role players to be starters and make major contributions.

GOODNEWS:

1) the hornets and pistons both lost as well, we didnt lose any ground
2) the fans boo'd the team off the floor, showing discontent helps force the teams hand
3) lopez trade rumors left and right

We freaking need Deron back in the starting lineup. Jack had his 15 minutes of fame, back to the bench for him.

We also need our guys to start attacking the basket and getting points in the paint. We play so soft and it's apparent... how many FTs did we shoot last night? At one point we had 2 FTs compared to the Grizz's 20+. And can anyone other than Plumlee get dunks and points in the paint??

This team is heartless and pathetic. But I guess that's the Brooklyn way!

Regardless of who starts we need Deron back. We simply cant play Morris big minutes and even if jack starts he cant be playing 40 minutes. he needs to be at 20-30 to be at all effective.

as far as dunks and points in the paint... no, it doesnt look like it. Maybe Jordan but he wont see alot of time. Lopez has taken more jumpshots this year then he ever has before, an alarming amoung more. and his FTs are WAY down. like 3-4 less a game down. we need him scoring more in the paint, and not just in the paint but at the rim.

wing is a problem... karasev/bogs/anderson areng giving us any consistent scoring (nor should we rely on journeyman and rookies too) and mirza isnt scoring insude.

we need to bring in guys via trade. hopefully something happens with miami or charlotte

I dont think anyone is dogging it outside of Lopez being lazy.

Johnson is averaging 38.4 minutes a game in January and it's wearing him out. Teams dont respect anyone else on our team so Johnson is going 1 on 5 most of the time.

Jack is being shoehorned into a role he cant fill. He is NOT a playmaker. He is a 6th man/scorer. Expecting him to suddenly become Magic Johnson is unreasonable. He is also being overplayed with DWIll out.

Look at their numbers from Dec to Jan

Johnson
Dec FG%: 46.9%
Jan FG%: 37.4%

Dec 3pt%: 41.5%
Jan 3pt%: 31.3%

Jack
Dec FG%: 43.5%
Jan FG%: 35.8%

Dec 3pt%: 27.3%
Jan 3pt%: 8.7%

These stats scream fatigue.

It doesnt help that our shooters arent getting it done.

- Bogdanovic is 30.5% from 3pt on the season and went 11 games in between his last game with a 3.
- Mirza is at 32.6% on 3pters and thats after going 4-7 last night.
- Karasev is only at 27.3% for the season on 3pts.
- Anderson has been our best support shooter this year hitting 33.3% of his 3s and that isnt going to get it done.

Teams dont have to respect our outside shot and they are collapsing the lanes JJ and Jack need to be productive.

Good point, but the fight has been taken out of Joe, fatigue or not.

Either way, our record without Deron is really, really bad. :noway: as much grief that we've given the guy(and deservedly so, he is a huge part of why we are **** ed), we need him in the line up.
