King really is making me more mad now then i was after the wallace trade.

WHY IS BROOK LOPEZ STILL ON THE ROSTER?

WHY HAVE WE NOT MADE A TRADE?

its almost like he wants to tank and doesnt relize we dont own our pick... which seriously would not suprise me

Considering the fact that he and the Nets brass attempted to hide the fact that the pick swap was agreed upon in the JJ deal, he may have lied to himself so much that he forgot about it

And it will make life easier when it comes time to stretch D-Will's contract and boot the loser out of here

How Brown doesnt get any playing time over the horror show of Bojan and Karasev is a comeplete mystery. Does this dude call Lionel Hollins wife names during practice or something?

Markel Brown isnt really a great option either... this is just like last year when people were dying for Jorge scrubtierez to get minutes. Brown is getting love because he hasnt had the opportunity to show he is just as bad/worse then the other guys yet.

I dont mind if brown plays, but an undersized wing who cant defend his position isnt exactly what we need right now

Agreed. in fact if we got lawson immediately cutting/stretching dwill might be the best option. we would want to do it this year so that its gets spread out longer.

we could spread it out over 5 years i believe

No chance we get Lawson for Lopez. That would be crazy. Honestly, I don't completely buy the Lopez to Denver talk unless it's for McGee + scraps. They already have Nurkic.

Don't really see the point of waiving Deron. We've hit rock bottom without him and I don' think we're in the position to be cutting talent and getting nothing in return.

We need to put the full court press on Lopez to OKC and Joe Johnson to Charlotte or wherever. OKC has the realize their playoff window is fading and KD being hurt on and off is going to be a problem. They clearly need more offense and a low post guy (for the nights that KD is out). Everyone involved would prefer this trade stuff get done ASAP so guys can get acclimated - except for Billy F'n King. Unless we squeeze Reggie Jackson, PJIII, Lamb, Lance, and Thad Young out of JJ/Jack/Lopez - I don't get the purpose of waiting until the trade deadline.
