Cut Markel Brown and trade LOpez for Gerald Henderson, Lance and Bismock Biyombo might even be able to get a pick in the deal.

Even if Blatche isnt back from China until the end of March, the Nets should resign him to keep his bird rights. I think we will have already dumped serious salary so resigning Blatche keeps our options. Blatche would prefer this also since he can make more money if we trade him in the offseason.

Blatche and Plumlee would work together much better than Lopez and Plumlee on the offensive end. Defensively Blatche wasnt that good. I would want Thad coming off that bench.

Wow.

I find this REALLY shocking. The way it ended i figured there was no shot Blatche would be back. especially with king balking at lance for non-basketball reasons.

Would be a real boost for us. We have nothing at PF and at the very least blatche plays with effort. im 100% in on this

He's cheap, he can ball, we have his bird rights, and he wants to be in BKN! I love it!

I wonder if they are doing this just to trade him at the deadline though. I know with Mirza going down we are thin at PF but seems strange to me.

I wonder if KG accepts a buyout now?

i dont think we can trade him until the summer if we sign him.

and we shouldnt trade him, we desperatly need a PF.

i see no benefit to buying out garnett

This would totally be a Lopez insurance move.

Blatche would be much better than Lopez off the bench. He's way quicker and a better rebounder, but we all know he makes STUPID decisions all the time, on and off court. Hopefully some Hollins tough love could help.

And then if we can get McGee and Afflalo/chander for Lopez...

Williams / Jack
Afflalo or Chandler / Bogs
JJ / Anderson
KG / Blatche
Plumlee / McGee

we could probably make a run for the 8th playoff spot.

But I still want Lance on this team!!

Blatche has shown interest on multiple occasions for returning to Brooklyn.

Blatche won us some games last year and sometimes his dumb play put us in precarious situations where we lost some games as well.

But you know what? We have his early bird rights and getting someone with his talent level shouldn't come as cheap as it probably will come.

This is a win-win for both Blatche and the Nets because with his full bird rights, he can get PAID if he plays well. For us, we get a player who can go out and do things for better or for worse lol.

I think if we do get Blatche, it would pretty much guarantee that we'd no longer look to get Lance. King had a hard enough time trading for Lance by himself. I think he'd have an aneurysm at the thought of Blatche and Lance together.

Adding Blatche would also give us some breathing room if Lopez goes down and allows us to play hard ball a bit with teams trying to rip us off for Lopez.

I look at it like this.

Could Jack be as good as Conley. Offensively yes.

Could Blatche/Plumlee/Lopez give us what Gasol/Zbo give MEM.

Could LAnce be our Tony Allen?

Mind you Lance and Blatche come on great deals. Roll the dice. I guarantee that Blatche and Lance give us more than Mirza and Bojan have. Most of the games we have lost hasnt been on the defensive side its because we cant score! Blatche alone is good for 15pts a night and Lance will get us some easy baskets with steals and run outs.

Bring my boy Blatche back and give him the contract they were going to give Mirza.

Interesting fact. Blatche shot 40% from 3 in China

Yeah, in CHINA. Most of the bad players in the NBA put up video game numbers over there.
