He's going to opt out. We're going to most likely offer him the max. 70% chance he stays.

yeah I say 65%-70% chance he stays, simply because of money and familiarity. I would not blame him one bit if he signs with the Bucks though, why stay here and lose?

He could go to Orlando too.

Doubt that. Vucevic averaged 19 and 10 last season and is 24 years old.

Brook will get the max. I would say 75% he stays..... I would be surprised (Not to mention sad) if Bropez leaves.

We can't sign and trade Brook can we? Package him and DWill to Sacto for DMC and filler? Hope King can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

We can't receive an S&T'd player but we can S&T a player to another team.

However, there are a couple of things working against us.

1) In the old CBA, when you S&T'd a player that player would get a full Bird contract (i.e. a contract with an extra year and increased annual salary percentage increases that were only available to the home team.) Right now, we can offer Brook a 5-year deal with 7.5% annual increases while other teams can only offer him a 4-year deal with 4.5% annual increases. In past CBAs, we could sign Brook to that 5-year deal and he could take that contract with him to his new team. Under the current CBA, he can only take the 4-year deal with 4.5% annual increases even though he's is traded to a new team.

There really is no incentive for him to do this unless he really wants to go to a team that doesn't have enough cap space to sign him outright. While this is the case for SAC, it all rides on whether Brook wants to go them rather than any other team since he'd (presumably) get the same contract on any other team.

2) For SAC to even entertain the idea, we can only send them positive assets. DMC is on an great contract heading into the TV money increase.

Brook, Plumlee, Bogs would probably be the base of the package we'd have to send them. I don't think SAC would want to keep him in the Western Conference so that's a plus for us but we'd have to beat out every other Eastern Conference team that wants him. I'm not optimistic about that in addition to the fact that Brook has to want to go there.

They wanted Plumlee thrown in with DWill previously. so I wouldn't be opposed to throwing in Plumlee. Especially if we can somehow get DMC. As much as I like Lopez on this team, there's so many what ifs with him although he held up nicely this season.

id give my first born if he opts in or opts and goes to another team...

that said it is a 100% certainty he opts out

it is a 100% cerrtainty the nets offer him the full max

it is extremely likely he takes it (basketball isnt something that drives him, he is happy in ny, i doubt winning factors into his decision)

because he isnt a super competitive guy, doesnt seem like someone who is frustrated by losing. and NY is alot nicer then milwaukee, especially if you plan to start a comic book empire

Starting to hope that he leaves. I think that the scorched earth option will be the only way to get King out of the front office and for the Russians to have a severe moment of clarity.
