Just watched the replay and I am disgusted by the refs.

- The bullsht inbounds call where the ball glanced off of Lopez
- RHJ doesnt get FTs on a break away foul
- LeBron has Lopez in a god damn MMA arm bar and Lopez gets called for the foul instead of an And1
- Varejao over the back and crashing into our guys on the glass
- Lebron's Karate chop on Lopez's forearms when the ref is looking right at the fcking play.

This BS should be investigated. It happens every god damn night where the favorite teams get prefferential treatment. You think the government would be more involved with officiating oversight after the Donaghy situation but they would have us believe that it was an isolated incident. I call bullsht. Donaghy isnt the so called "lone gunmen". Nick Baveta, Scott Foster and Joey Crawford are all guys who make suspect calls just about every game I watch them in. The league supposedly reviews every call made so I would love to see what they have to say about the LeBron no-call on Lopez. It wasnt an away from the ball foul. The ref is staring right at Lopez with a completely unobstructed view. I understand they dont want to call ticky tack fouls at the end of the game but that foul has to be called every time.

Nets need to file a complaint after this game, show the team that MGMT has their backs. How nobody made a remark about the refs is baffling and a sign of complacency.

Also why did they go away from the Larkin Lopez pick and roll??!! LArkin was killing Mo williams with it and frustrating the Cavs.

the NBA made a public statement about the poor officiating and basically threw the refs under the bus. That being said, Nets were an 11 point underdog in that game so if anyone wants to take shots at the suspect officiating they are justified. Someone started sweating hard once they saw that the Nets weren't going to get steamrolled but if you've been betting the spread in Nets games all season to take the Cavs at -11 was basically flushing your money into the toilet.

Wow so the NBA said the refs missed two fouls by Lebron on Brook. That's a disgrace.

We should have had a 3-5 point lead in the final minute of the game. Lebron once again shows its his way or no way.

I need to go watch the Plumlee block on James from a year ago.

Lebron cried and complained but I still say it had more to do with the 11 point spread than James' bitching. Basketball is the easiest sport to fix when it comes to the point spread.

Foster says that for him the relationship with Donaghy is over. The Pedowitz report cleared him, the FBI case is closed and the league publicly has stood behind him, giving Foster a vote of confidence at the annual coaches and officials meeting in Chicago in September.

"I don't think he can affect me any more professionally than he already has," said Foster. "I felt like I was reaching the point in my career where I was a go-to guy. I've been striving to be that for 22 years. You want to be the referee who walks on the floor and people say, 'Hey, we're going to get a fair shake tonight' or, 'He's professional'.

I don't think Donaghy was lying. I've seen too much crap with the refs correlating with the spread to be naive enough to think that the NBA's officiating isn't compromised.

If you believe Donaghy, then you should believe him when he said they were betting the over-under, not the spread. A trip to the line for either team will just as easily extend the game and raise the score if they were betting the over, whereas swallowing the whistle on "incidental contact" will help achieve the under.

When facing a top team - especially in their arena, it's always been the case you have to overcome both the opponent and the refs. I'm more surprised when it doesn't go that way, but the refs have to answer to those last-2-minute reviews.
