Nets, Rockets discussing Lawson for Jack/Bogdanovic

As it stands I'm a no on this trade, so far Lawson hasn't shown the ability to play and Jack is playing well now.

I just don't like the sound of this unless we get something else back

Jack is vastly outplaying Lawson so far this season. He got nearly double PPG, APG, and RPG according to NBA.com stats.

The only way Jack and Bogs for Lawson works is if we get a big man back in return and a draft pick. Even then you have to pray that Lawson turns it up and has a revival in his career, which isn't looking likely.

Why not ride out Jack at this point since he's playing with so much energy and passion, and he's not half bad either.

I was gonna say I didn't really notice a drop off in Lawson's away numbers last year aside from the efficiency. He was still racking up assists.

that said, he has looked horrible and his attitude leaving denver was so bad that its not worth it. I'll stick with Jack for now, the last thing we need is someone who will come in here and be a disruption while we're trying to dig our way out of the hole.

dumb as ****, Lawson is worse than Jack at least for this season, plus the personal baggage, and you can sign him next summer without trading for him.

Ty Lawson has been assured by the Houston Rockets that they're not shopping him in trade scenarios.

"They're pretty honest here and they would come up to me and tell me that," Lawson said. "When that story came out, they came up to me and told me like there is no truth to it. I'm just playing here every day, go day by day, working hard and if things happen, things happen."

Lawson has played well over the past two games as he's played with the second unit.

"It happens every day, even if you're playing well, teams are shopping you," Lawson said. "You just can't feed into it. Just keep being you."

I would just buy him out. We would pretty much do this for Jones and a pick. Lawson isnt worth having around a young team like ours. He was a malcontent in Denver leading the "6 weeks" chant when breaking the huddle (There was only 6 weeks left in the season). Now he has ruined the Rockets.
