Bargnani came through offensively wise. Hope this gets him going for us and for his confidence....

We havent really had that many bad losses besides losing to the Lakers at home.

The Boston loss came on the road and was the 3rd game in 4 nights. We made up for it by beating them the next game at home.

The Knicks loss was ugly but was also a road game.

We are 6-1 in our last 7 home games with the loss being to the Warriors. No shame in that.

Things arent as bad as people make them out to be. Our schedule is getting much easier. The main goal for the season is not to be among the 7 worst teams in the NBA so the Celtics dont get a good chance at a top 3 pick. We still might compete for a playoff spot if we can keep up the strong play at home and come close to splitting our home games.

I have come to grips with the fact that our wins arent going to be pretty. We dont have the offensive firepower to win comfortably and our depth is suspect so leads will never be safe. A win is a win though. 21 other teams arent apologizing for their wins vs Philly so we shouldnt have to either. I would rather win like this then to have another morale victory loss.

Really? Going to MSG is that much of a road game?

That was an ugly and BAD loss... these guys had two nights off IIRC before that game, they came out flat and beaten before tipoff.

The Knicks got hot in the 1st quarter. We outscored them the rest of the game. There are going to be a handful of games a year where the other team goes apesht on 3s and that is what the Knicks did. Remove the fact that it was the Knicks and it's just 1 game. And yes, MSG is a road game. It's probably the most hostile place in the NBA for the Nets.

He's playing some really dumb basketball and the coaching staff needs to show him the tape of these errors so that they can be corrected. All of the stuff he's been doing the last few games are easily correctable.

Shane Larkin is a savage. Love that kid's fire and heart. If D-Will had that kind of grit the Nets would have been a great team to watch the last few seasons.

I am all aboard the trade Lopez wagon. Here are the free agent centers

Andre Drummond (RFA)
Al Horford
Dwight Howard
Hassan Whiteside
Pau Gasol
Roy Hibbert
Joakim Noah
Al Jefferson
Festus Ezili (RFA)
Timofey Mozgov

Lopez is in his 8th year and still doesnt know how to play up to his skill level. The Sixers were guarding him with guys who were like 6'7"-6'9" and he was taking fade away jumpers going away from his shooting hand. This isnt a game of HORSE, you dont get style points for those dumb ass shots. He keeps trying to make passses that our PGs cant make. He cant handle double teams anymore. Let someone else fix him. He is the main reason we cant play fast on offense because he needs a good 3-5 seconds to get into his telegraphed moves. He is holding the team back. He appeared to have turned the corner at the end of last season but he is back in full force playing like a 7'3" shooting guard.

Trade him now, even if it is for a lesser player and go shopping for a legit NBA big that I listed above ^.

Drummond is an A Tier player. He is going nowhere.

Horford will probably stay in ATL or play for a contender.

Howard is a sack of ****. **** him

Miami is not letting Whiteside walk. That guy is a flat out stud big man.

I'd rather keep Lopez instead of dealing with the rest of the names on that list. Hibbert is garbage, Noah is on the downside, Al Jefferson can't stop smoking dope, GS isn't letting Ezili walk unless he gets overpaid, and Mozgov is a guy that I like but not more than Lopez. Brook is going through a rough period here and frankly he needs a kick in the ass, not to be traded.

Unless we get a good pick or a nice package of players its a non discussion.

Barclays is pretty much a hostile place depending on who is in town. The Warriors bandwagoners owned that building the other night and any time the Knicks are in Barclays its basically a home game for them.

I cant stand the way he is regressing.

I advocated trading him for a few years now. I don't really bring it up anymore because management always finds a way to keep him lol.

And then Brook made King promise not to trade him again during the press conference. I just thought "Well, if you played like you're supposed to play, you wouldn't be in this predicament."

Brook puts up numbers that look good in the box score but he doesn't have the impact many people (especially at the blog) thinks he has.

That guy Rainy has a love sock with Brook's picture on it. LOL He makes up nonsensical drivel to excuse everything Lopez does wrong.

Yeah...well if when you need to come up with tons of reasons for why a player you believe to be an allstar isn't playing like one, sometimes people get too wrapped in the details and miss what's standing right in front of them.

IMO, Porzingis already has a greater impact on the game than Lopez.

He rebounds better.
He passes better.
He shoots better and spaces the floor better because he can hit the 3.
He plays aggressively.

And he's only a rookie!

It's Brook's 8th year in the league. He is what he is now.
