Some of Lopez shots showed signs of a mini slump. Alot were inefficient shots and pretty much lazy attempts but others were shots he makes most of the time.

I am definitely more concerned with how pathetic his defensive effort was and regardless of the fact he may not be a real good defender in the first place. It didn't seem to piss him off that Nikola Vecuice was embarrassing him. No IQ on trying to make him drive, no IQ on hard fouls if he drives by. Just scrimmage mentality from start to finish. The difference between Thad at 27 and Lopez at 27 is one isn't content with being a C-tier player. Thad consistently plays like someone who wants to win every single night while being great individually and that's why Thad would be an All-Star if we had more wins.

I definitely would prefer to move on with Lopez sooner than later. He keeps getting offended about trade rumors but never seems to get that his passive aggressive style of basketball is trade worthy.

Lopez just played lazy, garbage basketball. I don't know what snapped in his head but he's playing like **** and I see zero effort or urgency from him. He is complacent with losing. Meanwhile Thad is out there busting his tail and being robbed of receiving proper recognition because the team stinks. Thad shows up every night, even if his shot is off he is still aggressive. Lopez has just lost me right now, unbelievable how Brook went from having a solid start to just being awful.

The guy doesn't **** ing care. Every time he got the ball inside last night he went up soft as hell and got annihilated by Vucavic. Empty stats my ass he whipped Lopez's ass all over the floor last night

so disgusted. Lopez looks like the bad contract while Thad looks underpaid with 12 double doubles now on the season. When you are paid 20 per and you put up effort like Lopez has done over the last several nights this is why you get mentioned in trades.

I told you earlier bro. you **** canned Vusevic but he outplayed Lopez tonight and I SAW this coming with how god awful Brook has been. Vusevic isn't a bum and the Magic are full of young developing studs. I WISH we were in orlando's position. This roster will be gold in 2 years for the Magic. Harris, Fournier, Vucavic, Oladio, Payton, Hezjona....this is what proper rebuilding looks like. I cannot wait until 2019.

vucevic had completely empty stats. did he outplay lopez? sure, but more because lopez played like trash then anything vuc did. vucevic had the classic lopez game. a few jumpers, a few garbage points, a couple plays at the rim. a quiet 20 point type game. at any point were you like "omg we need to stop vucevic"? probably not. i still have 0 respect for his game. he is a poor mans lopez, even if he did outlopez lopez tonite.

they dont have any real future studs other then maybe fournier if he takes off. the rest are all just really good/solid young players. of course we would rather have their roster, we are a dumpster fire.

Can you elaborate on "A team like Orlando"? You mean a top 10 defensive team or an eastern conference playoff team? Also you think Fournier is our stud player? I don't even... Anyway good game.

Believe me, I called this game as a loss because you guys have a talented team that is young and on the rise, and give max effort defensively I'm not sure why our guy Prok is dismissive of your squad, you don't grade out as a out top 10 defensive team by accident. Good win and good luck to you guys, as a Net fan I am jealous of seeing your team being run by competent people.

Regarding Fournier we're really high on him over here and we're hoping the Nets can steal him from you guys lol. But overall I think your core is nasty and will get better as time goes on.

my comments on Vucevic are how i feel. i view him much like lopez, an empty stats player with little impact on the game. maybe im wrong, you guys obviously see him more then we do, but all the games ive seen to me he is just like lopez.

As far as this game, my comments where taken a bit out of context. i never said we have no business losing to the magic, in fact, i predicted a loss. i said we "have no business being blown out" by you guys. which i think is a pretty big difference.

I also didnt trash your players, moreso then i said i dont see many potential studs. alot of good young players, but i dont see a budding top 10 player there. i also said id trade rosters with the magic in a heartbeat.

I hardly made any troll comments as was insinuated. i posted my opinions in our game thread, i predicted we would lose, i said i dont think Vuc is as good as his numbers indicate, and i dont think we should be blown out by you guys. other then the Vuc comment i dont see what is so outlandish, and even then, im certainly not the first person to say vuc is a bit of an empty stats guy.

thats why I always harp on him taking long jumpers. eventually the numbers are going to come back to the norm/your career percentages. you arent always going to shoot 60%+ on those.

When you are goign to the basket, you become more slump-proof. getting to the rima nd to the line is less likely to yield poor results for extended periods

I just found the "A team like Orlando" comment odd. We aren't world beaters but the team has obviously improved under Skiles and have some young players going forward. Currently being a top level defensive team is no small task considering how bad we were on that side of the ball the last few years.

Although Fournier got off to a hot start he is struggling a little against the quicker SG's. He played better defense and seemingly scored easier at SF but ultimately moving Dipo to a 6th man role has proven to be a success. That said, he's hardly our only "stud" player. Anyway, I have no hard feelings toward Brooklyn. I actually spent part of my life in Greenpoint where I was born, and lived until I was about 8 or 9 so a part of me pulls for the NY teams. Good luck!

I just found the "A team like Orlando" comment odd. We aren't world beaters but the team has obviously improved under Skiles and have some young players going forward. Currently being a top level defensive team is no small task considering how bad we were on that side of the ball the last few years.

I think you just interpreted it wrong or my point didnt come across well in plain text... it was saying a team like orlando like they suck, but moreso a team like orlando, who isnt the warriors/cavs/spurs type team who id expect to blow our doors off. orando is talented, a better team then us, but they have np superstar, and arent some elite team where we shouldnt be able to keep it close if we play hard.
