-It was nice to see Reed play well
-Joe is beyond cooked
-Bojan I don't think will ever be a legit starter in this league because he's such an awful defender

-Team fought pretty hard. Thought it was over when they went up double digits early in the 3rd.

Hollins isn't a good coach, but I had how the dialogue over on the blog is how he's holding back this team and that we'd be a 40 win team with a good coach. This roster is awful. We have no perimeter defenders, no bench. No two-way players as Prok has stated multiple times; unlike Bradley/Crowder two legit 3+D guys.

It will be a tough pill to swallow if Hollins gets the boot and King the extension. The roster is a far more glaring issue than the coaching.

if King gets extended while hollins, who has done himself zero favors as of late, gets the boot I'm not watching this team next season.

Nets down 5 with possession... and you could hear "let's go Heat" chants. :noway:

This was really the type of game where a guy like RHJ is missed. Ideally, you'd like to have seen some sort of an adjustment on Wade, instead of letting him continue to do what he wanted 1x1. In the last 5 minutes of the game he went 5/6....

6/22 from Young and Johnson. Bargnani played pretty well. Actually won the matchup against Bosh.

The man is showing more hustle and has looked better physically. He had a couple of nice drives, one where he finished and another where he made a nice pass that ended up with a Sloan layup.

It sucks, but the Nets are just outnumbered pretty much every night, the other team always have something extra in them. Plus, it doesn't help that the Nets can't shoot threes. They're handicapped.

His issue is never isolation or post up defense. His inability to rotate on help defense or PnR situations is what makes him so bad. We allowed 33 points in the 2nd quarter without Wade on the floor, Bosh playing well, Green making threes. All due to poor defense. That's where the game was lost.

bargnani is so bad at defense unless its a guy who has same or worse athleticism than him. although he did slightly better yesterday except for one drive i saw.

only positives was that wayne ellington looked pretty good offensively until 3rd or 4th when he cooled down. plus willie reed was really active in limited minutes. hollins has no confidence in thomas robinson offensively which is why bargnani is getting minutes over him.

Hollins coached that 4th qtr like he didn't give a damn. He sat there and watched Bojan get his balls fed to him on a plate and made no adjustments. I would have had Markel Brown out there without thinking twice about it. Every time Wade touched the ball he waved people off and tore into Bojan, it was a humiliating display.

can they at least play markel brown, at least he puts forth a defensive effort unlike joe, bojan, and ellington. although i think ellington tries harder than joe and then bojan is probably last in our wing defenders.

thad is an atrocious passer on fast break and really can get off his game if he settles for jumpers. he is mainly effective in low post but then lopez struggles if he plays farther from the rim.

LOL.

So Joe says the offense is designed to go through Brook and yet the 4th is by far when Brook is least active.

Either JJ is lying or it really proves that Brook doesn't want the ball enough at the end or is too tired. It's rare that I see establish position and actually try to be a force down the stretch.
