brown has a pretty tough job. he has nothing at PG, rookies and dleaguers on the wings, nothing behind brook and thad up front.

Thank you. The criticism of Brown is over the top. If he was a world beater of a coach, he would've been scooped up a long time ago.

He's got us playing much better basketball offensively despite losing Jack and JJ. The ball movement is quite nice considering the lack of overall talent with the team.

His #1 priority is to get these young guys playing time. Sure, his rotations could be better but such decisions aren't going to turn us into a juggernaut.

Finally, the idea that certain things are "so obvious" is pretty ridiculous. I doubt many of the people criticizing Brown have coached before. We have the ability to sit back and watch a game. A coach has to manage personalities, minute distribution, and put plays in on the fly among other things. If you guys have ever tried coaching, you'll know how difficult it is.

Brown is doing better than Hollins and that's exactly what you want from an interim coach. Anything more than that is icing on the cake.

I like Brown merely for the fact that players like him and our basketball has been a lot more fun to watch under him than Hollins. But I find his insistence on putting out those god awful bench units for extended periods truly bewildering.

That's not the point. The complaints stem from his inability to understand that Ellington and Larkin have a unnecessary long leash. Brown, McCullough, Reed and Kilpatrick should be getting the bulk of minutes behind Bojan, Brook and Thad. He still hasn't done that. We're not winning games but we are supposed to be showcasing what we have in terms of developing rookies like McCullough, Brown, Reed, etc. He hasn't done that consistently.

There hasn't been a single soul blaming the lack of winning on Tony Brown. It's his poor minute distribution in a showcase stretch of games. We don't need to see Ellington. We don't need to see Robinson at Center. We don't need to see Karasev and Bogie at the sametime.

I don't expect much out of him since he is an interm coach and he obviously isn't equipped to coach as a head coach but managing minutes with a bunch of rookies or projects with little expectations is the easiest part. He clearly is aiming to win games to show he should be a head coach candidate. Similar to what Kurt Rambis is doing across the bridge.

My only knock on Brown is I think that Willie Reed needs to play more.

Great clippers vs Okc game. This game was crucial for our draft pick, Okc plays GSW tomorrow on b2b and Clippers play Okc again next wednesday and the end of the month. Those games will be important for our 2nd round pick :(

Yup. Toronto is ahead of LA by one in the loss column.
